I know it's silly, but I feel like qualifying for any kind of sick pay must mean you've got a good-ish job? At every job I've worked it was a battle just to get any kind of unpaid time off. My coworkers would vomit in the bathroom and then go back to work.
Or you live in most countries that aren't the US. The US has some of the worst work conditions in the world because you keep voting for people who hate you.
We can't choose where we live, and most of us didn't vote for this. Our grandparents did (although they enjoyed the system themselves).
Now we've inherited it along with a million other problems, and union-busting is something most of our politicians are really good at
No, they're right. Even most democrats hate the crap out of their voters and work for corporate interests. When given a choice for more left leaning typed people still choose the corporate establishment.
