I literally have the Neverending Story book sitting next to me. I was taking a Reddit break between chapters.

Fun fact: much like this comic, the horse can talk in the book. Also Atreyu was green.

It's my first time through the book. I've been getting back into Homestuck, and I read about how some of that comic's characters actually heavily pull from the novel's themes, and the movie is nostalgic for me because I often watched it at my dad's house growing up, so I figured it was worth a read.

Do you have a link to the other parts of this comic? I checked your profile but I didn't see them.

and yeah, at first the last panel did say "Sweet!", but then I decided to subvert expectations and put a real joke in there! this keeps the Questing series fresh and unpredictable!
