[Nintendo Switch V1] CPU Heat Shield copper Loose?

Hey guys, I'm open my Switch to repaste the thermal paste. When I got to the heat shield I tried to clean the copper area but it won't get to the copper colour it remains that thermal stained. Then I noticed the copper was peeling away a bit. Should I replace it?

just remove the copper sheet, you get way better temps like that and it doesnt really do anything anyway, because the shield doesnt make contact with the ram and thus isnt helping with cooling it.

Copper sheet doesn't matter, even with trash paste temps are 5c lower at worst.

Hell you can leave the entire shield off and itll be fine, direct die is best for this.
