Oxide360 - My first (vibe coded) Program! Rust

So I know vibe coded is a very turning off set of words, but I have no programming experience and this was my first break into the development world so just bear with me.

This is Oxide 360 - a complete rebuild of Fusion 360 made by me (and Claude by Anthropic).

I've tested it as I would treat Fusion 360 and it works pretty well! I've gotten rid of as many bugs and things that would separate it from Fusion 360 as much as I can. And its public so you can fix it if you'd like!

There will be a FlatPak coming out soon (if not by the time this post is up).

Because I didnt like the other options that were out there for linux. And it was a fun project for me to learn. I dont see why not

Cool, have you ever heard of onshape? Its run on a browser so you can even run it on mobile and its my personal choice of cad

I have used onshape, and it used to be my primary for a while. I just got sick of having a browser version and would rather it just run locally. But it is a nice piece of software ill say that

wheel reinvented yet again by claude because someone would rather give anthropic their money than do a google search for a fusion alternative

Well I dont like freecad all that much and decided it would be fun to do this? I dont see the big issue here 😅

I've tried freecad and I just dont get it, but if you dont like it thats okay!
