The Comeback Kid 😍👏🏽
Congrats Andre ❤️
EDIT: Andre is the owner of the former juice bar, Jenny on the Greens, which was located at 726 Franklin Ave.
In the summer of 2025, Steve sold the building without informing us, and we were given six months to vacate. Andre closed up shop and later told me he was looking to open a coffee shop.
Fast-forward a year, and Andre has secured a lease on a spacious new location on Union Street! I’m choosing not to share the exact address because he’s not ready to open just yet. I simply wanted to congratulate him on his resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. Rebuilding a small business after being forced to close is no easy feat, and I’m genuinely proud of him.
And lastly, I didn’t mean to upset anyone by abbreviating Eastern Parkway as “EP.”

Too bad we don’t know what business he owns so we can support his comeback

He owned a smoothie/juice shop called Jenny on the Greens. I Think it was named after his mom so maybe the new business will have the same name? https://www.instagram.com/jennyonthegreens.nyc?mdxt=MTZtdW9ra2R0eW01dQ==

I’m in my 30s born and raised in bk and we all call eastern parkway ep. I think it’s a age and cultural difference.

What did he comeback from

The building we were originally in was sold, and we were asked to leave. Many small businesses don’t recover from something like that, but he found a way to rebuild. I’m super proud of him.

OP…a little context would be nice. Tell us who he is and what business he owns so that we can support him.

Hey, sorry about that! Andre is a small business owner in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He owned Jenny on the Greens, a local juice bar. Unfortunately, the building where his original juice bar was located was sold back in 2025, forcing him to relocate. Fast-forward a year, and he was able to secure a new space! This new location will also serve coffee.

Is he moving into one of Chef Mike’s spots? Looks like Vital’s storefront, next to ital!

When I worked across the street, he was the sweetest guy! So happy to hear he’s doing well🩷

He is! We used to butt heads when we first met, but now we’re so supportive of each other. I’m going to help him repaint his space and maybe do some interior decorating, too. I’m excited!

While some of us know this is, context on posts like these would be nice for the newbies. We'd all love to support Andre
