My son just graduated from business administration in USFQ there are no jobs in Quito he applies to dozens of jobs every day and gets no replies. The career cost (with a scholarship and payment plan) over 30k.

I don't think it's a good idea, in 2017-2018 was one of the easiest degrees to get accepted, since we had to take the admissions exam and the score was very low. My classmate graduated from that degree and now he works in a small bank.

I studied abroad with USFQ. They take people from a ton of different countries, that's likely a good backup option

It depends on what you want to study/major in, which university you want to study in, and what do you want of your degree. I have several classmates that did their undergraduate/bacherlors in Ecuador, and then did their master's or/and PhDs abroad, and they are doing pretty well (obviously not in Ecuador, they never returned because the opportunities there are better, and unfortunately we graduated during the pandemic).
You also have to LOVE whatever subject/major you want to study because then it would be easier to "enjoy" the grueling work it takes to get a master's at an elite university in the US, Canada, Australia,Europe or East Asia.
