Education quality in Ecuador is good. The issue is lack of opportunities to use the degrees.

Bro have you seen the ranking of our institution. Not to mention tha we did't really that in the recent PISA exam. Which basically mean out education system suck.

Doesnt mean shit. Its a global thing. And its not about fucking rankings... Usually our system doesnt rely on research, but the quality of education is quite good. Better than europe too, where there is research but doesnt go anywhere

Bro chill out. I'm Ecuadorian myself, so I know what I'm talking about. I don't mean to throw shade to our country. But the education system is crappy, at least at high school level. STEM wise specifically. Currently I'm doing an engineering undergrad at York in Canada just to find out I know nothing math, physich & chemestry. Just because the "bachillerato unificado" is a usless, apprentice of everyting and master of none. Cuz the most classes I got in Ecuador is a water down version. Now I have to double my effort to catch up my peers.

I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT TOO AND I AM PROBABLY OLDER THAN YOU

Are you talking about high school or universities? Because i am talking about universities. OP asked about a bachelor. I am ecuadorian too and our universities are fucking good so i wont allow anybody to say otherwise.

Chances are you would have struggled in a STEM program in Ecuador , which to be fair is common too everywhere, perhaps more so in Ecuador but idk how bad it is your case

Universities are pretty good, in fact often better than the "first world"
