Meme(s) Bunch of hypocrites.
They don't know you but want immediate access to your body. With no effort or connection required.

I hate when they pay, are excited to pay, refuse to let you touch the bill….
Then look at you like you’re supposed to get on your knees
I was going to pay for myself, and if I was going to suck dick for money it would be more than 20 dollars

Ok most prostitutes charge 600 minimum..
Dinner is 20-60.
I used to watch this old show called "Cops". Street hookers... meth adddicts with no teeth, (sorry but ugly as sin) clear hard coredrug addicts in the 90's were charging 40 bucks...
The value of the dolla has risin since then...
Yer applebee's dinner cost less than my cab up and back. Less than my purse. Less than my heels. Less than me getting of me shift... showering, shaving... blow drying, styling my hair, applying some makeup... and my dress.
I'm not proffiting off these shitty male's one dinner. I come out at a net financial loss.
To met some male.
Even if he paid for a dinner. Look up the price of heels. Or cabs. I did 't profit. Dating is always a financial loss for women.

u/AwwHeeelllNaaah 2h ago
Everything you listed as being part of your expense applies to men as well, except the makeup and purse.
Men wear clothes, too. And take a cab. And get off work. And style their hair. And shave. And shower. Etc.

Had a man approach me while I was grabbing a drink and tell me to "grab whatever you want, I'll pay for it" while eying up my chest and trying to start conversation.
My brother in christ it's a gas station and I'm buying a 99¢ bottle of tea.

I had a guy, total stranger, try to buy me a drink and insert himself in me and my friends convo after i made a joke about looking young. When I was 22 I looked about 16 and I’m really short and small.
My brother in Christ do not offer to buy me a drink seconds after I say ‘I look young enough to legally satisfy a pedo’

I am happy to let them pay. Then IF they make a comment about expecting sex, I laugh in their face and let them know that prostitution is legal where we live and they are welcome to go hire someone.

If i were str8, i would just str8 up tell them that i am still in the getting-to-know-you phase, am not ready for intimacy (i would say this quietly), and have no idea if this is gonna work out.
Telling them this before the outing is best.
10
u/Fried_0nion_Rings ⋆✴︎Evil Witch✴︎⋆ 4h ago
Is it bad you feel the need to tell a man you aren’t interested in intimacy before the first date which is in public for a reason?
Only reason I’d tell them I wasn’t ready for intimacy would be if I accepted an invitation to their home and I didn’t want to have to have the conversation there. Reminds me of the stories of heard from guys and girls when the guy straight kicks the girl out when he realizes he isn’t getting laid.
If you’re only taking a girl out because you want to get laid I think it’s on the guy to say it before the date.

This is why I’m glad I’m sapphic. I’m way less likely to deal with this shit from women.

Since the beginning of time, sex has resulted in pregnancy, horrific childbirth and death. Breastfeeding, extramouths to feed ect.
Unnatural hormonal birth control has not been around for one whole lifespan of women.
Side effects include cancer, blood clots, depression, suicide and a whole list of adverse side effects longer than my arm.
No, your two dollar coffee, and refusal to even prove you can feed me... let alone pay for potential children's food, diapers, clothes, groceries, toys, school supplies, extra rooms in an apartment... does not really make sense...
from an evolutionary standpoint, to get women in the mood for pregnancy and death risks.
Even male birds... will provide a nest. A house.
Not that that compares to women's risk and pains and labours and potential deaths.
These males are not fit to have the opportunity to mate.

u/Ok_Willingness5766 4h ago
Literally this. They refuse to even accept that having kids is way more dangerous for the woman. You're asking this woman to potentially put her life at risk for your future family, and you don't want to pay for a first date? Fuck off

u/whichonewerecowards 3h ago
Exactly like wtf? I’ll believe in 50/50 the day that men go 50/50 in pregnancy and childbirth

You expect to get pregnant and carry a child to term from the first date?
Also if the dates don't result in a future child, is he entitled to a refund? I mean your argument rests solely on providing a child.
16
u/Ok_Tree_4870 3h ago
Listen purposely obtuse male. No woman is risking their deaths to have sex for twenty dollars.
No woman is risking raising a child for twenty dollars.
No woman is risking death, for your twenty dollars.

A guy went viral in my country a few months back after joking at a stand-up show about how he tried to get a woman he went on a date with to have sex with him because he’d paid for their food (amount of money from which you cant even buy a lipstick btw), despite her clearly being uncomfortable. Bro genuinely seemed to think buying someone a meal entitled him to sex. The backlash was massive and thankfully he got fired from his job which pissed a lot of men lol.

u/Gaunt_and_Ghoulish Wrongs Supporter 5h ago
Good! Glad he faced some consequences. It's sickening how everything always leads back to sex for them. Some expect it after one cheap meal. Others expect it simply because they're in a woman's presence.

u/DesignerProcess1526 3h ago
50/50 means in spite of all privileges, they still failed to be successful.

I also hate that the logic is men pay because women spend more time and money getting ready for dates. I don't think that should be an okay or normal thing. The reason men pay is because he is asking this woman to start a family with him, which will be wayyy more dangerous and costly for her than for him. Acting like women and men invest the same into relationships is just bullshit; we need awareness that women are always, inherently, putting more into it than men are (unless they're childfree of course).

Good, let's keep men paying their way out of any responsibility and commitment. That way both men and women get what they want the most..

If paying for a date is gonna make a man shirk his duties as a husband while his wife is pregnant, I think there are bigger issues than whether he paid for the first date!

u/CloudySubject 2h ago
You're the one saying he should put in money since he can't contribute anything else, or at least nothing else that's as worthwhile as money.

My husband started cheating on me when I was in the hospital almost dying.
So I guess after 20 years of marriage he didn't work out. How is it that we are supposed to tell which one of you are the one that stays and which one leaves when studies show that a massive statistical swath of husbands cheat on their sick wives? It happens so often the hospital nurses know what to look for and advise women with chronic illnesses. So much so they do research on it.

u/Ok_Willingness5766 3h ago
Did you ask your wife to pay for your services when you took care of her too? Lol fuck off. You just as easily could have gotten sick. I hope your wife leaves you for someone better.

Paying for a dinner or a coffee is too much too fast, but getting access to a woman’s body isn’t? Manipulation much?

u/DesignerProcess1526 1h ago
40+ men are still trying this put out within 3 dates narrative, with 40+ women. Divorce, lifelong inability to get married, have kids, many failed short term relationships don’t reform them.

u/LycheeFlip 1h ago
I've been seeing so much of that in the dating subs. No dude, just because you don't have sex after three dates doesn't mean she isn't into you!? Same thing with the kiss on the first or second date thing. Yet they'll complain about body counts but want everyone to put out asap?? Some women just don't do that stuff, especially with a guy they barely know and aren't official with.

Weirdly enough, doesn't this strike anyone else as a social commentary on living in a capitalistic, corporate, and commodified world where we use and manipulate our bodies to increase financial gain so that we can afford more things and increase our status, and oddly ironic and hypocritical that we accomplish these things by sacrificing our physical safety in order to function in this hyper reality?
We're basically putting ourselves in danger, so that we can afford our own safety. It kinda makes sense you have to kill the predator so you can feel safe. At the same time in our post modern society it feels like we twisted what it means to feel safe, into this mutated version of survival that supports a simulation of multiple false narratives or flawed perceptions (for example, movies or tv shows) of what we think is is the purported mode of functioning as a human being.
We value money more than our own bodies. Interesting.

u/VishfulTinking 29m ago
Many women are intentionally financially trapped by misogyny/patriarchy such that being protected from random males is 'paid' for by trading their bodies for 'protection' by one male.
Also known as a 'protection racket'.

This is why I love it every time when women make more money than men.
I had to look it up because I know it was a pretty recent thing...
Though it wasn't a federal law, many financial institutions routinely enforced policies where only a man could sign, until 1974 when Gerald Ford signed the equal credit opportunity act made it illegal because of discrimination.

Men's transphobia really shows that so many of them don't understand consent. They'll get mad if a trans woman doesn't disclose she's trans on date ONE. They say they were tricked. They really don't understand that they can be attracted to someone and that doesn't mean they have to sleep with them. They think because they said yes to a date, it means they said yes to everything that might happen afterwards. They really think they can't say no at any point, and it's so telling.

Quick question.. How come you don't want access to his body?
Is it because he approached you - meaning he's picked someone he's really attracted to, whereas you just said "sure" to some random guy who approached you so there's not really much if any attraction?
I think this might explain the whole dynamic between the sexes and desire for "bodily access" as you call it. (like it's a one way thing - girl, you gettin' sex too!)
Also also - I don't see how paying for something helps you get to know someone better.
But I CAN see how having sex does.
You get to see what they're like in bed and whether or not you've got sexual chemistry. - that's very important to vet for a potential relationship.
Plus some people feel that your true self comes out during sex.
(I don't agree - I think the animal brain just takes the wheel, so I guess the underlying self comes out?)
I dno.. what do y'all think?
