Lmao who talks like this. I know it's weird and kinda gross, but sometimes I find old chaser dm's just to laugh at how weird these ppl are

u/Manoffreaks 11d ago
I think it's an attempt to be dominant (along the same lines of saying something like "I didn't tell you to stop...") but not only is it weird to do with someone you've shared like 5 DMs with, it's not even a good attempt.

I never get them, but I feel like I would also find them entertaining. Especially after the fact.
Harassment is always more funny when it is safely in the past. I have gotten real-life harassment instead of online, and thinking about those idiots can be really funny to think about later.

this happened to me recently! i just said 'i have a boyfriend' to shut them up. and it worked! "i have a girlfriend" doesnt have the same power sadly. chaser's are more likely to respect an invisible man that i belong to, before they'd respect a woman

When did trying to randomly dom people become a thing?

u/Spirally-Boi 12d ago
Funny part is, if she had politely asked me I'd have said yes in a heartbeat, since I'm crazy for women. But this ain't it, chief.

Ew, I hate to say it, but she's even creepier than men

u/PM_NUDES_4_DEGRADING Transgender woman 12d ago
I mean given how gross and unethical she seems to be, there's no reason to assume she's not outright lying on top of everything else and is just saying whatever works (slightly) more often.

They also tried to message me, got bad vibes from looking at their recent posts and ignored the request

u/ninjagirlaura 12d ago

I mean could be a strange women (those do exist) but more often then not, they are men in disguise. Either way, ew.

"Cis or trans" should pretty much always be a conversation ender
5
u/NyxieNymph 12d ago
It depends on the context, but here when there was no like conversation about sex or anything relationship related, definitely.
9
u/NyxieNymph 12d ago
Oh, ick, it looks like she's trying to do the dom thing without prior communication or consent. The "No what" is her trying to force you to say "No Ma'am" 🤮🤮

The fact she's from the UK should have been your first clue that something was amiss...

Is sapphic just the women version of grungler?
14
u/Spirally-Boi 12d ago
Sapphic are women who prefer dating other women or feminine people, but not exclusively so
-2
u/ConcernedEnby 12d ago
I've seen loads of sapphic women say they'd date trans men, saying that's why they use the term
5
u/Spirally-Boi 12d ago
Like I said, sapphic isn't necessarily exclusively attracted to women and femmes. I consider myself sapphic and I date men, both cis and trans.
4
u/ConcernedEnby 12d ago
That's fine, I was more referring to people who use the label to say they want to date trans men but wouldn't date cis men
1
u/BizSilver5013 10d ago
That's...a little odd.
Especially since bi women count as sapphic, even when they would date cis men.
6
u/Dissociated_Nerd 12d ago
The term Sapphic comes from the ancient Greek poet Sappho, who lived on the island of Lesbos and was attracted to women in all forms (platonically, romantically, and sexually). Her works are where we get our modern term for women liking women, Lesbian and more. Feel free to search this up for more details.

This is far from the first time I was harassed by a woman, but I thought I was over this shit after transitioning, and that I'd only have to deal with men.
Sometimes it feels like my life hasn't changed at ALL since I transitioned
