General Discussion What’s with the re-activation efforts?

Was there a talk at the last conference about discarding any boundaries set and risking your relationship with family by pressing them about church and coming back. I’ve seen a big uptick in having to tell people no again.

There were some mild references to reaching out “lovingly”. Or “with love”. I hate that because what is loving is up to the person doing the attacking.

I thought it was more to just let Jesus worry about all us wayward children.

But you never know how TBMs are going to read into what they hear at conference. Yours might have felt prompted to reach out on their own.

It may just be your family. I’ve heard crickets

Nothing from my family still stuck in the church. I actually called them as it was my 1 year anniversary of coming out to them. No one said anything about church or religion.

My mom and sister went back. After ex-communication. The heart wants what it wants?

Yup- Rasbands talk and I think a few others. I told my husband- there you have it, the love bombing is going to kick in for all of us who’ve left.

The week after conference, I got a card in the mail from a woman in ward RS. I don’t know her and have never met her . She signed it as my ‘ministering sister and friend’.
