Daily Thread Official: [WDIS K/TE/DEF] - Sat 10/17/2026
Post your Who Do I Start (WDIS) questions here for your K/TE/DEF positions ONLY.
PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING IN YOUR WDIS POSTS
- Position-specific scoring rules (PPR, TE premium, 4 or 6 pt passing TD, etc.)
- Other league specific rules and details (league size, std/PPR, roster details, custom scoring, bonuses etc.)
- This week's opponents of your players
- Entire roster if helpful

WE HAVE A BOT THAT CAN REFERENCE THE BORIS CHEN RANKINGS AND GIVE YOU FEEDBACK
To invoke the bot, comment anywhere in this sub in the following format:
!boristiers position [player, player, player...]
Where position is a standard position acronym (dst, flex, qb, rb, te, wr) and player, player, player... is a comma-separated list of players for that position. Here's some examples:
!boristiers flex [hunter henry, keenan allen, melvin gordon]
!boristiers rb [matt breida, tevin coleman]
!boristiers qb [lamar jackson]
The bot will reply to your comment with a table of player ranks in the format of {tier}.{position_in_tier} for each of the applicable forms of scoring. If a player is not found / ranked, they'll be denoted as N/A.
WHEN ANSWERING QUESTIONS
- Do NOT reply with only the player name. This just removes the other person from the index without them getting information. You are not helping.
- Explain why you would start that player.
- Remember most people know how to look up rankings. They come here for discussion, start a discussion!
- Please respond directly to the OP or the Bot will not pick up your comment
individual WDIS threads posted after this point will be deleted in order to keep the subreddit clean. Post here instead! If everyone sorts by new, your questions should be answered.

Start Brenton Strange or Harold Fannin?
Love Strange’s volume over the last two weeks, but I feel like Fannin has a major advantage with TD upside. Also not really worried about his last game, considering how bad the weather was.

I think I’d go Goedert. Offense is gonna be concentrated between Devonta and Goedert with the other guys sprinkling in some against a pretty mid defense

In a similar position. I think I’m gonna go with higbee. I just think the rams offense is better and so he’s got a better shot at falling into the end zone

Would you go Higbee or Kincaid? I've got Warren and Kincaid, but Kincaid has been invisible othet than the first two games and I might just stream a TE this week. Loveland, Strange and Hiller are also available

I think I like Goedert a little bit more. Feel like the panthers can let almost anyone score 20 whereas the giants try to muddy things up and turn games into slop fests

I have Warren questionable and Kincaid who's been invisible for a month. Worth giving Kincaid one more shot or dropping one of them for Loveland, Strange, Waller, or Higbee?

I have the Houston and Jacksonville D, which leads to some decent match ups during the season, apart from their games against each other.
I could drop one of them for the Panthers (against PHI) or Saints (against NYG)

If Warren (te) doesn’t play, would you drop Downs to pick up freiermuth (pit) or punt the week? I’m 2-3 and I am already playing without dst

Is Vikings DST a clear hold? They’re still at 90+% ownership, but their schedule coming off bye week is IND, DET, BUF, GB and SF. IND is a solid start for Vikings DST but those next four games may be rough.

This is a question I didn't think I'd have and the process is actually conflicting right now. ATL does surprisingly well vs the TE position whereas TB does not. It'll (likely) be Caleb's first game back and we've no idea what this offense will look like, but Freiermuth has been involved.

Kelce will likely be good for a few catches and a TD. He'll be Mahomes safety valve, especially with no Rice.
