The BCS system for rankings combined in equal parts the media poll, coaches poll, and multiple compuer rankings, which provides a good consolidated ranking. For computer rankings this post uses an average of the r/FCS sportsbook computer ratings, Massey ratings, Sagarin ratings, and my Massey/Colley/SRS composite ranking.

Seriously asking cause I don’t know, are regular season rematches in the first round a thing? I’m looking at Colgate vs Harvard. For some reason, I have a thing in my brain where they aren’t supposed to happen but correct me if I’m wrong

They're a thing, so long as they aren't conference rematches.

In fact, we had one just last year: Drake played South Dakota in the regular season and the playoffs.
