Oilers and ducks do the retro helmet, we used to do that dog mask, etc.

What’s the post-win ceremonial “thing” and who got it tonight?

fire Tocchet.

Michkov was one of the few guys to show some balls against Detroit, and sticks up for his rookie linemate Martone. Against 6’4 Mo Seider no less. Tocc needs to wake the hell up or take a hike.

Included the full clip of him lighting Tocchet up & Charlie mentioning what this makes him think of from a former Flyers HC....

I've always been one of those fans who "toughs it out" & watches every game I can, but this team is testing it more than any other.

Outside of goaltending this has not resembled even remotely an NHL team. Even the god awful ones score some goals, get some shots & WIN some games.. they can't even make a clean 5 foot pass.

It's a disgrace to everything Mr. Snider built & if Briere/Jones don't fire Tocchet now then they should be shown the door too.

Y’all want to send a message?

- Don’t go to Saturday’s game. If they lose again, don’t go to the next home game either. Rinse and repeat.
- Don’t watch Saturday’s game. See above if they lose again.
- Don’t buy Flyers Carnival tickets.
- Don’t buy merch.
- Don’t go to in-person events.

This league is about money and money talks. Nothing will get done until ownership takes a hit where it hurts.

This is coming from a LONG time Flyers fan that really wants this team to turn things around. But god damn tired of the insanity approach.

I think that's the nail in the coffin. That'll be so embarrassing for Briere & Co, especially cause there ain't no way Gauthier isn't scoring. Carlsson too.

They've also gotten fortunate to not play many offensively hot teams so far. SEA, CAR, DET, OTT are not teams that light you up.

Colorado (Monday), Buffalo (Wednesday), Anaheim (Saturday) with WSH, UTA after that are teams that can score a ton & a ton they will score on us.

Maybe getting Tocchet fired can be the 1 thing Gauthier does for us lol.

Here ya go!

Maybe I'm reaching, but he sounds like a guy sorta fed up with the coaches messaging/system.

Tocchet screams like a HC who preaches "focus on the defence first and the offense will come" & that simply isn't the way with how this team is playing.

Drysdale is absolutely bang on. The thought process at this point should just be to say fuck it. Let's try some shit. Take a risk. Be creative. Anything is better than what they have been doing.

Every post game interview is so alarming regardless. Lot of subtle jabs at guys not wanting to work, not being consistent etc. this is gonna get so messy.

So I know for tomorrow's game against Ottawa, that there is some pre game events going on and I heard that players will he available to sign some items among other things.

I've never been to a game like this where there is a ton going on before the game, at least not in a long time anyway.

What time is best to get there to be able to enjoy it all and what all is going to be offered, basically what all should I expext for tomorrow? Hopefully a win, but I don't know if I can expect that 😂

Absolutely comical stuff. Benoit-Jiricek is genuinely one of the worst pairs I have ever seen. Benoit especially can't do ANYTHING. He handles the puck like a grenade.

U throw Studnicka out there who's a career AHLer, Acciari who hasn't done ANYTHING & u put a rookie in Martone with them.

Oh and with 1:29 left Nick Seeler (???) is on the ice and takes a penalty lmfao.

Get this dude outta here.

For now bad things have been, at least from WITHIN the organization, things seem way too comfortable and quiet. I'm not saying everyone is happy with how things are going, but there haven't really been major statements, reports of closed door meetings, etc.. It seems like all noise and pressure is coming from fans and media alone. Just a thought while we all wait for the next great game of Tocchet hockey.

But you all have the absolute worst jokes about it. Congrats on your upvotes though!

-22 goal diff lmao

this kid is nasty and pretty smooth for a big guy.

im taking into account the fact the flyers will be picking outside of the top 3 when they eventually win the last 7 games of the year and lose the lottery.

idk. its gotten so hard to watch the flyers, id rather see what these prospects are up to. way too early to have this conversation but its more fun than talking about the guys on the actual roster.

Let us wear our tin foil for a moment. Do you think G talked the Sens into giving us 1? I think Our Captain is still looking out for Philly.

Shut up. Let me have this.

Here's who we got coming up to close out the month:

• Ottawa (6-2-0)
• Colorado (4-2-0)
• Buffalo (4-3-1)
• Anaheim (4-2-0)
• Columbus (2-3-0)
• Washington (4-3-0)

That's a tough schedule. The next winnable game looks like the Columbus game (Oct 27th). We could conceivably close out this month with 1 win...if we're lucky. That last time a team started as badly as us right now and made the playoffs was in the 98-99 season, over a quarter century ago (though, that was prior to last night's game).

Let's be frank here: we are staring down the barrel of a lost season here not even a month into the season. The lack of urgency, by anyone, I find extremely disturbing.

Addition by subtraction frost, farabee, hayes etc

He established a culture

He thought we were too slow up the middle especially coots

He turned TK into a bad ass pk player with goals off the rush

He let tk play, built a system around Michkov

He went at it with sanheim and turned him into what he is

He went at it with york because he's a bitch.

His rope test made sure everyone was in shape

He gave us brad shaw.... And we would have made the playoffs if we weren't sellers at the deadline.

The Flyers are 0-6-3, but rookie defenseman Oliver Bonk has been a rare bright spot. After earning top-pair duty alongside Travis Sanheim, the 2023 first-round pick is showing the confidence and composure that could keep him in the NHL.
