Discussion Grace's Character Spoiler
I just finished the series.
Overall i l liked it more than i expected.
I would like to know what you people think about Grace's character ?
For most of the time the series were showing like she is going to play big part in the story but then she suddenly dissapears and never seen of her again.
One thing i personally think they shouldn't have done with her character was SHE commiting the two murders from the beginning of the OG friday the 13th movie..that makes no sense at all..idon't know why they did that and then her character vanishes from the series.
I liked her character but in the end it didn't pay off.

I was kinda disappointed that she didn't appear in Episode 8. I wish we could've gotten at least one more scene with her. Besides from that, i liked her character, it was nice to see Jason have a friend

They wanted her to be there the night of the murders so that she could spot Jason and be the one to tell Pamela where the secret hide out is. I guess having her involved in the murder and having Pam help her ensured that she wouldn’t tell on her as well.
They probably could have achieved all of this some other way but I suppose I get why they did it. At least Pam got to finish Claudette off while delivering some lines from the original film.
If there’s a season 2, I expect to see Grace back as a friend and ally but I don’t really feel it’s necessary.

I’m theorizing that Pamela is going to adopt Grace, but it’ll be under the name Diana.

Hmmm i could see that happening but they will have to change the lore of 'jason goes to hell' which i don't think anyone would mind lol

Her plot's lack of closure is probably my biggest "???" thing with the show. I'm assuming it's being left open for a potential season 2, but even then, her being the one to kill the OG counselors kinda feels like a twist for the sake of having one. Especially since that could have been the big "Oh shit, Pamela is the bad guy now" moment.

Yea that's one of my bigger issues with the show, none of the new characters really get any form of closure for their character arcs this season.. The only one that somewhat does is Dorf. Like I get it, it's to leave room open for season 2, but still, it feels like all the new characters just kinda get put in the background for ep7 and 8.

Pam is looking for Barry. I like that this is what Pam is doing here, since going through the kids cabin in the 1st movie seems random. I don't remember if she has a weapon, but I assume she's going to kill him, and Grace just found him first?

I get the feeling they're teeing her up to take on a final girl type role in the future or to be the one that kills Pam in the future.

yeah i give zero chances she will end up killing pamela...that would be a huge change of the lore and it wouldn;t make any chance but if there is a season 2 i like to see her again :)

The series, to me, feels like an homage to different exploitation tropes. The fact she’s killing people after taking acid feels somewhat like an I Drink Your Blood type of plot. She’s also a wild card because we don’t know where her story is headed out of Jason and Pam and that’s one aspect that keeps things a little unpredictable.

I thought it was weird we see more of Pam caring for Grace than we do Jason, but I guess Pam was kind of replacing Jason with Grace?

She diddnt disappear she was in the hospital and them chosing not to drag her along while they got chased by corporate thugs isn't exactly inexplicable
