Café Breakfast All this for less than a tenner is unbelievably good for right in the centre of Edinburgh. Snax Cafe lang may yer lum reek

Snax has been part of this city forever, and I tell you what they fucking know how to make a breakfast. Can't imagine what the business rates are like in their two gaffs, one in studenty southside and one right by Waverly station, I literally don't have a scooby how they can offer such high quality, well prepared ingredients for such bargain prices. The cheapest full breakfast is £7.20, and its definitely a full breakfast! This was £9.90 + a tea.

My only complaint was the beans were a bit watery, but whatever. Everything else was perfect. I was ready for disappointment when I seen that egg, but honestly that might have been the best part! Such perfect, runny yolk, with the white fully cooked and just starting to crisp up. All the meat spot on too, and that tattie scone was the fluffiest, crunchiest bastard, I almost ordered an extra one.

If you're ever in town, do yourself a favour and pay them a visit.

Vegetarian and vegan fry-ups have always been welcome on this subreddit and always will be.

What's unwelcome is users complaining, teasing, or insulting others for their choice to not eat meat or meat-based products. The same goes for attacking users for choosing to eat meat, or any other dietry choices or restrictions, such as halal, kosher, gluten free, low-carb, etc.

fried bread Pan con tomate (baguette fried in olive oil, raw garlic and tomato rubbed on top, chopped tomato, Jalapeños and herbs over it) the Jalapeños don't belong but I like a spicy bum hole

This was so good - quality ingredients and well cooked. Full English includes 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, beans, mushrooms and toast. Extra black pudding was £1.20. Tea wasn't included. Bonus points for orange juice which was freshly squeezed.

I've been rather unwell, physically and mentally of late, so haven't been eating or cooking much. Decided I need a fix. I forgot to drain the toms, so it's a bit wet. Fresh toms off the plant as well. Mushrooms were a bit passed their best, but cooked in butter they were lovely.

The missus hit it out the park today. Branston beanz, and Tesco Finest sausages and bacon. But the real star was actually the fried bread. Jacksons multiseed, and she buttered both sides prior to frying them in the air fryer. I am pleasantly stuffed!

Home made fry up… beans (contained), grilled on vine tomatoes, avocado, mushrooms (cooked in garlic & truffle oil) shallow fried hash browns, Avocado sliced, fresh tiger loaf for fried bread + toast, vegan black pudding (genuinely tastes like real black pudding) this isn’t vegan sausages (again tastes like a decent pork sausage) vegan Richmond back bacon with a little maple syrup ( texture was 8/10 flavour was a 6 but Tastes more like frazzles crisps than bacon), tofo scramble with butter, turmeric (for colour) and black salt for eggy flavour. Really tasty if I do say so myself! Served on a nuclear hot plate out the oven, fresh orange and cupa tea! Seasoned with Maldon sea salt and black pepper

Sorry egg Nazis, me and the missus can no longer deal with runny yolks. Duck egg, mini hbs, best local sausages, Smokey Bacon, beans, mushies and a fried slice. We were happy.

The oil for the eggs was slightly too hot.

They are on top of the fried bread.

AA 3xRosette fine dining place… stayed the night.

I’m intrigued as to what the council will say. I’m going to guess “overpriced war crime” ;)

It was included with the room.

All quality stuff.

Café Breakfast Crusty Cob, Sheffield. Small Breakfast £5.75

Wasn’t hungry enough for the large which is only £1 more. Like last time, it was perfectly cooked and everything was piping hot which is always welcome.

1 x sausage, 1 x bacon, 1 x egg, 1 x black pudding, 1 x toast, beans (not watery at all), tinned toms and mushrooms which had actually been fried (possibly deep fried).

Quality was totally fine. Bacon and sausage not the best but definitely not the worst either. The quality of the cooking is more impactful in the end.

This is 100% my go to spot in Sheff. Defo a tradeys type place so good energy in there and the staff are friendly.
