Can you explain why you are intolerant of runny yolk but not fully cooked? Genuinely curious

I think it's to do with the state of the protein. My son has a similar issue but has a genuine allergy. Egg in cakes, pancakes etc fine, but runny yolk no longer agrees.

Perhaps when it's fully cooked something is cooked out of it maybe? Strange how both you and your partner have adopted the same allergy. Son kinda makes sense if it's passed down. Did you both become intolerant around the same time??
