I'm not downloading their shit client to test. But I guarantee it doesn't have the reinstall feature like steam does even after all this time. You can have epic point to the exact spot it was installed last. The piece of shit will still reinstall every single game you own.

Steam doesn't :) and hasn't for DECADES

A lot of free models for vibe code do better... It's the issue when you don't have dev ! Vibe code can be a cool thing... Only if you have humans to check and correct code

That's the thing. If you actually thoroughly review and fix the vibed slop you forego the "output multiplier" they advertise. If you don't do it thoroughly, you get shit like the OP showed.

It's not like a launcher like that is a hard task for a team of professional software developers (I work in software engineering myself), but you can't have the output multiplier without reducing quality, and you can't expect the multiplier while upholding quality standards. And once you find a compromise inbetween, the price of the tools usually isn't worth it anymore.

It's an interative process too, as with everything in programming. You don't trust your own code and neither the machine's.

There are no issues with code; it is working as intended. It's a design flaw because they forgot "going back in time" is not the only possibility where you go from PM to AM.
