Hello, everyone!
As many of you know, we've been removing Legit checks and value check posts for the last few months in order to keep the sub more streamlined with actual content. As the months have passed, not only have those posts not subsided, but they have increased and removals have been blatantly disregarded by repeat offenders. The moderation team has decided that we will officially be making the following additions to the official sub rules:
No Legit Checks
No Pricing/Value checks.
These are very self explanatory rules. Any post found in violation of these rules will be removed, and the poster will be notified via ModMail. Multiple removals will result in temporary bans, up to permanent banning. Anyone found trying to circumvent the AutoMod or moderators in regards to these rules will receive a permanent ban from r/funkopop.
We all want this sub to thrive and be a great place to share, show off, converse, and discuss Funko Pop! lines, but we need your help too. If you see these or any other rules being blatantly broken, submit a report. Thanks everyone!
Also, If you have any questions about these rule additions, please reach out to any of the moderation team.

Good morning /r/Funkopop!
Your friendly neighborhood Moderator reporting in on the early shift. Overnight and now that I've investigated a little bit, it seems we have some folks who have a pretty convincing scam that has hit the Funko world.
A series of websites, all of them with .shop as their domain name have been pretending to be the "official funko" store. It looks close to the original website enough and have "deals" that seem like incredible prices. However, they are not! We've had a dozen or so reports in the last couple days.
It seems that people are clicking through on Instagram, Facebook, and the Hellsite advertisements and that's how they're getting brought to the website.
funko-official.shop and funkoeurope.shop are not, I repeat myself here for emphasis, NOT legitimate websites you should be buying from.
Please do not get scammed. There is nothing you can do if you give them your info and they charge you.
The only legitimate Funko (TM) website is the official funko store is at funko.com and their related international website for Europe, funkoeurope.com.
Stay safe out there this holiday season.
With love and respect,
Dr. Shady Esq.

I’m new to collecting Funko Pops, but recently I saw this transparent Batman and picked up coz looks cool
I’m mainly into Hot Wheels, but now I think it’s time into Funko.
I saw a lot of Chases and exclusives at a local game store, so are Chases common in Funko?
Can someone explain this to me in Hot Wheels terms?

So far I've only bought Pocket Pop 13 day Advent Calendars. I've been curious about the 24 ones. Some of the 14 day calendars seem to have things that aren't Pops. What has been your experience? Also I've seen special holiday editions of Pops. This year I have a 13 day The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror 13 day calendar.

So I’m planing to get these four funkos signed by the cast and wanted a case to display all of them in one (like one long Funko protected that fits all four) but can’t seem to find one that’s for that. Does anyone know where to get what I’m looking for? Or any other advice to display them protected and not too expensive?

I sold a lot of my pops one year and Adam Bomb Chase was one that I regretted. Finally got him back!! Happy to have him in my collection again 🤯

So I just bought my first funko above 15 pounds definitely upgraded I just spent 220 pounds on an ultimate wolverine the problem I have is pop up conventions it places an almost bias to the US since I just paid an extra 60 pounds on importing shipping ext. and honestly most people would say dont buy it but I’ve been waiting for a good looking ultimate wolverine for ages and when I saw the pop I was so excited to only find out its a pop up in nyc…

I started late but now only collect Dallas Cowboys and a few select pops. Just wanted to see if there is an age limit?
