I saw an email that read that labs were cancelled on my outlook email.

It was late night and I was sick, so my dumbass didn’t notice that it was a bio lab not a chem lab.

Only for me to look at stemble, 10pm on Friday and see the post-lab is still due on Saturday the first 17th.

So I looked for an announcement, and found an announcement in my bio lab that it was cancelled, but no new announcement in chem lab.

Idek what to do here

Genuinely some high schoolers  inflate there grades to get into a certain program then we they get in the program after they fail one or two courses they reliase the harsh reality. Like bro it's fault not the teacher's/TA fault.

Hi, I got all of the information I needed from this lab EXCEPT FOR THE CONCENTRATIONS OF THE REACTANTS, and most of the calculations in the post-lab require them. I genuinely have no clue where else to ask, I'm kind of screwed. Does anyone who had this lab already (the filtration one, experiment 3) have the concentration values for sodium benzoate (C_{6}H_{6}COONa) and HCl? Tysm in advance !!

I never go to the bathroom on campus, except for today. I thought to myself, may as well go to a lovely private stall in FSS.

I was then concerned when I saw that red button to lock the door, but I clicked it and waited to hear the lock. I don’t know if this has some sort of timed mechanism but someone ended up coming in (to no fault of their own). So I think we are both a bit traumatized lmao. I at least had my underwear 🤷‍♀️

The lock also said to check for the red light…but there wasn’t a light at all? Maybe they haven’t updated it yet…

Am I an idiot who does not know how to use a lock or are there actual issues with the locks in this bathroom?

I also understand that these locks are for accessibility, but man do I hate them lol.

Genuine question: how many of you have actually voted in the UOSU by-election?

Apparently, less than 5% of students have voted so far, which I find pretty surprising, especially considering how many students have expressed concerns or frustrations about UOSU but still don’t participate in elections.

Whether you agree with UOSU or not, it’s supposed to represent us as students, and I think being more aware and involved starts with something as simple as voting.

Is it me or is it completely useless? I've tried to get an appointment twice now in the span of this semester. Once for the cold that we all got sick with, they referred me to a clinic off campus.

Now for my mental health and they aren't even picking up the phone though they are open until 4PM... what gives? Is their a secret to this thing? Do I gotta bring them a timmie's double-double or promise them my first born child?

I bought one of those triceratops plushies from the campus store a few weeks ago; one of the green ones wearing a U of O hoodie. and he's been my pride and joy ever since. I love him so much.

However, fate was cruel and either yesterday or Tuesday I lost it :(. I remember having him with me on Tuesday around 7 when my evening class started but everything after that is honestly a blur. I can't remember if I had it during my midterm yesterday, or at all for that matter, and I couldn't find him anywhere today.

Typically I walk around with his head poking out of my backpack, so I'm thinking my bag either unzipped and he fell out, or I took him out when getting something else in my bag and just forgot to put him back in.

I don't ask much of people at this institution cause I know we're all stressed out all the time especially with midterms now, but I BEG of you all PLEASE! If you happen to notice a misplaced triceratops plush or have already found him, shoot me a DM or comment on this post or something. I'll buy you lunch or coffee or something if you find him just help me bring my baby home 😭😭😭😭

I have the option to transfer to UO for accounting starting January (from WLU bba), would that make it hard for me to still find a friend group at that point and be able to adjust to the place well? Would it be worth the switch? Does anyone have any experience with this or advice in general?

I am doing an bachelor's degree :') and just moved to the city from out of town and honestly, I would love to make some friends. I have like no friends here, and I am basically a mole rat. I'm introverted, high school friendships have faded over time, and making meaningful friendships in uni is SO MUCH HARDER than I expected. We try, but sometimes things just don't work out, yk?

And honestly, the uncertainty of my future right now, and I'm trying to get my life together, having something throw me off, and then somehow ending up back at square one. Rinse and repeat hahahaha T_T

If you relate, then you probably know how fucking difficult it can be to get even the simplest tasks done when your brain just refuses to cooperate. I'm so tired of constantly having to pick myself back up and start again, but I'm also not ready to give up on myself or the things I want to achieve.
