Gaming I hate Trans Ralsei Theory

Post image

Even if we ignore the numerous times he has been referred to as he/him, a boy, a guy, a dude, a prince, we must also realize that just because he isn't traditionally masculine, he isn't transmasc (or transfem)

There is no Easter Bunny, there is no Tooth Fairy, and there is no Princess from the Dark.

'Oh but Deltarune is all about breaking free from fate' I can hear exactly two of you say in your heads (I can read your mind,) I know one thing, and it's that I can't break free from the fate of going through Undertale 2 and finding that both routes lead to the same goddamn ending of Gaster Friend Inside Me Penumbra Phantasm Big Shot World Revolving Jarona Shadow Crystal Always Bet On Papyrus Knight.

ZHOTAN!

(Also, I'm not transphobic, before you try to spew that label onto me)

Oops! Seems you dropped some context. Here it is:

Because the blue/pink drink lines up with the trans flag, and he immediately gets called "Princess" afterwards. While the entire conversation is about breaking the prophecy, which states that he's a "Prince".

I can't believe trans people invented the colors pink and blue

December Holiday didn't invent antlers, so every "Dess Knight" theorist pointing to the Knights antlers are wrong!!!

Hmmm, if only there was a certain character in Deltarune whose main colors were pink and blue? No, it has to be because these are 2 out of 3 colors on a pride flag!

"but why would ralsei even be thinking about kris!! kris isnt relevant to this!" the suspicious ralsei textbox from only a little while earlier:

it depends on which side of the flower castle you do first, i always do left first so its first for me ig

but yeah makes sense both ways either hes still thinking about kris after saying that stuff or thinking about kris because hes planning on saying that stuff

If only there were some other drink Toby could have used that would've made an alternate interpretation impossible, and reduce confusion... like maybe some king of... Kris tea...

Ralsei is from Espírito Santo theory confirmed?

Definitely not. As we all know, Kris from Deltarune invented the colors blue and pink.

Because, of course, the fact that one option is the exact 2 main colors of the protagonist and the other is the exact 2 colors of their alternate form is obviously just a coincidence.

Yeah and Lost Girl playing for Ralsei, the ribbons being trans flag colored, Ralsei's interaction with the dress only trans characters wear, Ralsei's extreme happiness if you accept him as a princess during the climbing minigame, Ralsei being called an egg, constant references to "Princess" while Ralsei is a "Prince", there being a second girl in the prophecy that is described with "at last", as in will show up later and be important, Ralsei being obsessed with a 2/3rds trans flag colored drink (which, if it's FlowerySoda, is also described as containing white) and in the same scene being called a "Princess" and blushes, surely ALL OF THAT is a buncha coincidences.

Also, you literally can't say "I can't believe trans people invented blue and pink!" then act like Kris from Deltarune invented blue and pink. There's multiple explanations for everything. The trans one isn't always inherently wrong, and if you think it is, you should reflect on that a bit

A theme with the word "girl" in it plays!

Susie becomes willing to accept the ribbons, is she trans?

Obviously Toby would lock one of the only real hints to a major character arc behind a random dialogue option in a random mini game!

Eggs certainly don't have any other use or meaning in the plot of Deltarune!

The character who calls everyone "princess" calls Ralsei a princess!

Ralsei certainly hasn't ever been called "Prince" in the prophecy, and there certainly isn't any other major female character just now entering the group!

Ralsei is obviously obsessed with the drink he mentioned wanting once!

If the blue and pink drink represents Ralsei being trans, why is the other drink green and yellow?

A theme that only plays for girls... specifically ones feeling lost. A theme titled "Lost Girl" playing for lost girls.

Only on her arm...

Making hints for a potential major event in future chapters hidden is normal actually

"It's evidence. You'll know what it was evidence for when it happens" - Egg dialogue in Yellow+Blue fight

Ralsei's "Princess" was given it's own text box. And a boop. Clearly a lot more important

The prophecy doesn't call Ralsei a prince, it mentions a prince. And Noelle joined the group in chapter 2

"You were looking at it the longest", why wouldn't Ralsei just be looking at Kris if it really is just "Kris' dark world colors"?

Because its Kris' drink, the one that Kris wants

Media literacy is dead if you played that and thought "Hmmm nothing to think about here this scene has no meaning"

If I didn't first associate the colors pink and blue with the main character who is pink and blue, I have no media literacy?
