Gaming I hate Trans Ralsei Theory

Post image

Even if we ignore the numerous times he has been referred to as he/him, a boy, a guy, a dude, a prince, we must also realize that just because he isn't traditionally masculine, he isn't transmasc (or transfem)

There is no Easter Bunny, there is no Tooth Fairy, and there is no Princess from the Dark.

'Oh but Deltarune is all about breaking free from fate' I can hear exactly two of you say in your heads (I can read your mind,) I know one thing, and it's that I can't break free from the fate of going through Undertale 2 and finding that both routes lead to the same goddamn ending of Gaster Friend Inside Me Penumbra Phantasm Big Shot World Revolving Jarona Shadow Crystal Always Bet On Papyrus Knight.

ZHOTAN!

(Also, I'm not transphobic, before you try to spew that label onto me)

“If you ignore the 5000 instances of his gender being affirmed on screen and look at the colors of his drink, it’s obvious he’s actually a woman.”

This has got to be the dumbest argument i've seen. I can guarantee you that alot of trans women have had their gender "affirmed" mutiple times before they transition. This literally doesn't debunk anything. I don't even agree with the Trans Ralsei theory, this is just dumb, there are tons of other arguments agaisnt Trans Ralsei and this is not it.

A character can literally look at the screen and say “I’m cis” and you’d still think he’s trans lmao

My point was that we should be using the themes of the story to go agaisnt the Trans Ralsei theory, not just his pronouns but sure, go off about reading comprehension i guess🥀

And my point is regarding the point I was replying to, not your weird inserted position I wasn’t talking about?

Are you 12 years old?

The original point of the commenter above was that Ralsei being called a boy doesn't really debunk the trans Ralsei theory because most trans women also went by their assigned pronouns before transitioning. You replied with the exact same argument that the commenter was talking about, saying that his gender was affirmed on screen and my point is that you're bringing up evidence that the original commenter already sees as shaky. Granted, i was being too harsh about it so i apologize but you have to realize that using the exact same evidence that is now seen as shaky by the trans Ralsei theorists due to chapter 5 ain't doing much.
