Gaming I hate Trans Ralsei Theory

Even if we ignore the numerous times he has been referred to as he/him, a boy, a guy, a dude, a prince, we must also realize that just because he isn't traditionally masculine, he isn't transmasc (or transfem)

There is no Easter Bunny, there is no Tooth Fairy, and there is no Princess from the Dark.

'Oh but Deltarune is all about breaking free from fate' I can hear exactly two of you say in your heads (I can read your mind,) I know one thing, and it's that I can't break free from the fate of going through Undertale 2 and finding that both routes lead to the same goddamn ending of Gaster Friend Inside Me Penumbra Phantasm Big Shot World Revolving Jarona Shadow Crystal Always Bet On Papyrus Knight.

Mf you do realize Ralsei being referred to as male doesn't debunk the possibility of him transitioning to female, right?? What, do you think all trans people insist they be called by their correct identity the exact moment they pop out of the womb??

Woah you must be really questioning this for 2 question marks. But that's a dumb argument, by that logic that blue ballerina guy has to be Trans because how dare he like traditionally girly stuff

Look, whilst I think Ralsei being transfem could make sense for Deltarune's narrative, I'm also not suggesting this as a point towards the theory being true, I'm simply stating that a character being referred to as one's birth sex does not instantly debunk any theories of a character being trans, as trans individuals are pretty much guaranteed to refer to themselves using terminology consistent with their birth sex before they discover their actual gender, much like how cis people do so without any change for the most part.

TL;DR: You & I are essentially fulfilling this meme, but on Reddit instead of Twitter.

the entire point of the game is that even though the prophecy might be true you can and should bend it so you can live your own life, the theory is that even though ralsei was originally created as male he could bend the prophecy in a way that makes him more happy and become female, thats the idea. I don't know if I think its true but its best to create an ironman rather than a strawman.

You can bend the details of the prophecy, yes, but he wouldn't be a prince anymore hed be a princess, which is breaking it not bending it

that is working under the assumption that the title changes with him which in most cases like this that does not happen, also you are missing the entire point of what im trying to get at, i am going to stop talking now because you clearly arent willing to take in any new ideas, goodbye
