13 years ago at a railway station in Dehradun where I had just finished stalking Ruskin Bond, I chanced upon a young couple seemingly skipping school. I winked twice at the and showed them my fist full of chocolates. The young lad came over and asked me what was the matter. When I told him that I was just old and lonely he hugged me and said I reminded him of Charles Kent of Surrey. Six years later he stepped into my office at Kemps Corner and smiled at me with his offer letter in his hand. Who would have thought all those years he just yearned to work for me? So yes, approach strangers.
