Dust
Probably going to be a dusty Hula. Bring a face covering, gator, bandana, etc. When you get back to camp, rinse your nose out with saline. Only YOU can prevent wook flu. Happy Hula!

Can you believe we are just days away from starting the journey back to Hulaween? As many of us make our way back home, many of you are finding your way for the first time and have asked about Camp Reddit. Welcome! Here is what you need to know about camp, our annual pancake breakfast, and craft beer swap:
Camp Reddit at Hulaween started in 2016 after a couple of the original mods and I organized the first pancake breakfast and beer swap in 2015 at the playground. We talked about starting a camp that welcomed people who were afraid to come solo, or coming for the first time, and generally just opening our arms to our fellow "internet weirdos."
Our first year, camp was ~20 people in Hippie Trail. We eventually outgrew the space a few years later and ended up in Pine Field. At its peak, the group was almost 200 people and is the biggest group I've seen in the park outside of the Brothers & Sisters from Wanee. The bigger it got, the more work it became... eventually it started to feel like a job, so we took a step back and simplified things.
Ten years later, camping in the group is simple: show up, find space, and help out. There are no camp dues, but we ask everyone to try to bring a pack of bacon and/or a bundle of firewood.
We generally set up in the trees behind the B row in Pine Field. There is a fence illustrated on the map below that runs behind sites B1 and B2... use that fence line as a guide, and avoid camping any closer than that to the reserved sites in the B row.
The stage is set up in site B8, so be aware of how close you are camping to it! If you are not sure where to camp, find me in B3 with the Florida flag.
There are a few camp rules:
Now, on to the fun stuff...
First, renegades: it's gonna be an IYKYK kind of year, as there is no published schedule for camp renegades. I read the feedback from last year and expect changes that keep the vibes positive. Keep an eye on this subreddit and campreddit on Instagram, and keep an ear to the ground!
Second, the pancake breakfast and craft beer swap will take place on Saturday 11AM (at Camp Reddit in Pine Field), as is tradition. We provide the bacon, but feel free to bring anything else you'd like to mix into some pancakes! If you can't cook, it doesn't matter! We have professional short-order cooks wooks to do it for you!
And folks, when I say craft beer swap, I mean it! There will be a tarp for a simple take-one-leave-one. If I find someone leaving something from Coors, InBev, or god help me -- a seltzer -- your schedule conflicts will be the least of your concerns!
See you in the swamp!

Hello everyone,
As we're getting to the home stretch before Hulaween, everyone is getting more excited -- and for some, more anxious -- as we get closer to going back home. In response to a surge in posts recently, we have updated the subreddit rules to add and clarify a few things. Please take a moment to read them. You can also find these rules in the sub's info/about section:
1. Be kind
Open dialogue and debate is encouraged here. Negative opinions are fine, just don't make it personal. Hostile activity, trolling, or insults are not welcome here. All members must follow general rules of Reddiquette, so have a good time and don't be a dick.
2. Use the search, wiki, FAQ, and flair filters before posting
There are many commonly asked questions here. Please use the search, wiki, FAQ, and post flair filters to find answers to your question(s) before posting.
3. No ticket sales
Buying, selling, or trading tickets is not allowed. For ticket sales, use r/HulaweenTickets
4. No self-promotion, marketing, or ambassador posts
Ambassador posts; or posts/comments involving any marketing or self-advertising without prior approval from the mods will be removed.
5. Discussing illegal activities
Don't incriminate yourself or others - cops read Reddit too! Harm reduction is an important topic, but discussing drugs or other illegal activities is not permitted here. This includes but is not limited to: asking about security measures, asking how to sneak in or asking how to buy drugs.
6. Personal information
Selfies are fine, but do not post or comment with someone's personal information, or post links to personal information e.g. names, email, address, phone number, or other unique identifiers. This includes screenshots of social media pages where such information is still legible.
7. Low-effort and off-topic posts
Low-effort posts or posts unrelated to Suwannee Hulaween will be removed.
8. No duplicate posts
Duplicate posts will be removed. Please check the sub before posting lineups, schedules, or other popular announcements to make sure it has not already been posted.
9. No NSFW/18+
Not everyone on this sub is an adult. Posts with content that is considered NSFW/18+ are not permitted here.

We have not heard anything about a burn ban so fires seem to be a go at this point!!
A friendly reminder - please do not bring in wood from outside the area due to non native pests. As you drive north on County Road 129, passing Busy Bee on your right, you will begin to see locals offering fire wood on the side of the road as you approach the park. Bring cash and load up because it's going to be cheaper than what the park offers at the general store.
Fire Tips/Advice: It's a good idea to bring a rake for clearing your campsite and fire area of brush. Bring long BBQ lighters, fire starters (fatwood is the best) and lighter fluid. Going to bed or to the venue? Make sure the fire is fully extinguished. Keep in mind this is a unique privilege that Suwanee offers, it could be revoked anytime, so be responsible !
Don't want to deal with a fire? Our camp uses a portable propane fire pit and it's the best (all the vibes without the smoke and hassle).

Hi and Happy Hula!
I am curious to hear from anyone who has used the ADA shuttle services. Does anyone have a details on how shuttles are requested, or is there always someone at the spots/making their rounds. Curious about the wait time as well for these.
I am making a request this year due to spinal surgery recovery and other lingering injuries. This will be my 10th Hulaween and I don't want to let my injuries prevent me from celebrating with my community.

Nothing worse than a dirty festival ass and destroying the environment with baby wipes.

I won’t be coming for the first day but it’s so unclear if I’ll be able to bring my car in to park at the campsite.
Does anyone have any experience or helpful/tips details?
Thank you in advance 💟

This will be my first Hulaween this year and I'm super excited! I will not be camping but driving in everyday and was wondering if there would be a parking lot for the people who would be driving to the festival? If so do you have to pay everyday or is it free?

Does it even make sense to arrive between 11-2/3 ish pm? From what I’m reading it sounds like you should either show up before or after.
I’m glamping for what’s it worth.

Bought the early bird. It's not supposed to ship until 9pm tomorrow night I bought it 12 days ago. Think they'll make me buy a whole new parking pass?

Anyone heading in Tuesday? Let’s get together and disk golf or play some magic

Hey y'all! I'm in a group and there was a miscommunication about arrival time. We have early arrival passes. I have to work Tuesday during the time we're supposed to come. My husband (not attending) could drop me off at the gate after I get off work - but as far as we know, the group isn't allowed to move the car/leave the campsite once they're parked to pick me (and my stuff) up at the gate.
Is that true for early bird days too?
Just needing to figure out if I need to hitchhike at the gate or call out (I really need the money after missing a lot of work for this, so not ideal)
Thank you! 🧚♀️

Pray for me that I'm somehow able to make it through this entire weekend with a plastic wristband like a higher end version of the kind you get at a club... I'm wondering if I should paint it with gel polish to ensure it doesn't degrade all week (I'm volunteering so I'm going to be working & wearing it for 7+ days).
Mourning the loss of my souvenir festival band 😭

What's up hula fam? So my friend got screwed by his job and can't come to Hula anymore. I got the Wizard glamping package and am looking for potentially someone to link up and get into some adventures. I'm flying in from New Jersey and plan on arriving Tuesday at about 1pm. I've been to about 7 hulas and usually hit resonate every year as well. I'm willing to cover your entry and share the glamping tent but you would have to get all the add-ons like early arrival. Hit me up if you are interested and we can chat to see if it'll work out.

I am meeting up with friends to camp Saturday-Sunday (they will already be there and have camp set up). I didn’t realize how expensive the satellite parking passes were, especially since I am coming in solo. Are there any other places to park that are less expensive / free in the surrounding area? My friends will have my camping gear so I am open to biking in, taking an Uber from somewhere, or whatever other options there are to save some money. Thanks!

My 9 year daughter made a free shavackado (if you get it you get it) and wants people to sign it 🥹. If you see it with me or around my camp take one leave one, please don’t hesitate to put something cute on there. 🫶🏻☺️
