Hey everyone! I just released the trailer for my new short film, 10 Minutitos. It’s a Spanish-language comedy drama about a guy who gets called by his girlfriend to wait at a park bench with no explanation.
The full film comes out this Friday, October 23rd, with subtitles in English and French. Would love for you to check out the trailer and let me know what you think.

Declaring my interest up front: I am the lead actor in this film, not the director. It is called Curtain Call, directed by Garrett Lee Pollack, and it went up on YouTube on 15 October. I play Theo, and the film stays close on my character for most of the runtime. What I am after is the feedback friends will not give you. Does the performance hold you for the full 16 minutes, and if it loses you, where? Any moment where the character stopped being believable? Full film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm_QrlNm3s4 — I will read every reply. It is also on Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/film/curtain-call-2026-2/

CORNERED* is a 15-minute short documentary following Andy Burrows, a Belfast man who steps into a Lisburn boxing gym every week—not to fight an opponent, but to manage his own mental health struggles. The film explores how routine, physical discipline, and the brutal honesty of the ring serve as a tool for mental resilience and self-discover

CALLING ALL INDEPENDENT FILMMAKERS & CONTENT CREATORS!
Frightertainment is looking to connect with independent production companies, filmmakers and creators who may be interested in showcasing their work on Frightertainment.com, including our upcoming free horror streaming platform, FrightWatch.
We're interested in independent movies, short films, TV shows, documentaries, paranormal investigations and investigation series that could be presented as individual episodes.
We fully appreciate the time, money, dedication and passion that go into independent productions. At this early stage, we're looking for creators who would be happy to consider allowing their work to be featured free of charge, without a licensing fee.
We completely understand that this arrangement won't suit everyone, and we respect that.
Our goal is simple: to help independent creators reach new audiences, gain exposure and have their hard work discovered and appreciated by more people, with proper recognition for those behind each production.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in discussing, we'd genuinely love to hear from you. There's absolutely no obligation.

I'm mostly a musician, but now trying to explore cinematic videos to support the message, approaching it as a short film rather than a music video. Here's the latest one, please grill it proper. What works, what doesn't, etc. Thank you!

Lost Cause is a feature-length meta-musical. Total runtime (including end credits) is just under 85 minutes. 11 original songs are intercut with (and comment on) the narrative. We shot everything in four days with a small cast and crew of all-stars.
Here’s how we did it.

I made this film as a camera test using multiple different formats. That led me to a composer that had a piece of music with no home. I made this film for her song. Theres a commentary track on the youtube video if you'd like to learn more. Hope you enjoy.

Hi,
I shot a new film against a green screen without spending a single penny. I invite you to watch it and leave a comment.

A solitary man wanders through the city at night, observing people who seem completely cut off from reality. One night, he boards a bus.

Hello,
I wrote, directed and produced this film independently and as per the title I just released it.
It follows a man called David J. Hitler, who has a problem. A pretty obvious one. Burdened by his notorious surname, he sets out to prove he’s a good person, but quickly discovers that redemption is a harder sell than infamy.
The film takes a lot of inspiration from the 90s style comedies I grew up with, particularly Wayne’s World, Friday, Kingpin and The Big Lebowski.
If you’d like to watch the trailer first, you can find it here: https://youtu.be/p0lE9VgXZJU
If anyone has the time to watch I’d appreciate any thoughts.
Cheers!

We just released our independent pilot episode, Farpoint: The Dream Police, and it’s now available to watch for free on YouTube.
This was a completely independent production made by a passionate crew, from development and pre-production all the way through production, post, and release. We put a lot of work into the world, locations, production design, cinematography, and overall visual style, and we’re really proud of what the team was able to create.
We’d love to hear from other filmmakers and film lovers.
Thanks for giving an independent project a chance!

Hi everyone! I’m a newer filmmaker, writer, aspiring producer and actor currently developing The Suspect, a psychological drama proof of concept inspired by real-world stories.
Teaser: https://youtu.be/PDgWh0rBw0U?is=wpWhAYCgsGKO-YS7
It follows a mother whose two children go missing. What begins as a search for the girls gradually shifts as detectives begin questioning whether their mother knows more than she’s telling them.
We filmed the core performances last year with a wonderful cast and crew, and I’m now finishing the additional visuals and post-production.
This is my first time stepping this deeply into the filmmaker/producer side of a project, so I’d love to connect with other indie filmmakers and hear what you think of the teaser.
Teaser: The Suspect
I’m especially interested in creating narrative work inspired by real events that can also bring awareness to issues people sometimes overlook.
