Apparently, despite splitting, they have an incredibly healthy relationship as friends and parents to their two kids. I guess romance had run its course between them but no love was lost.
So many people dunk on this, but we don't know their situation or motivations. It's awesome when people can be friends with their ex (especially when they have kids together) rather than be salty and toxic. Idk if there is more to it, I know nothing about their personal lives.
One of the most important people outside of my family is an ex. We're close as hell, we trust each other endlessly, shit just didn't work cause life went in different directions, we both moved on, she introduced me to my current partner. Zero animosity at all
