Husband: what happened to the nightstand?????

Wife: oh that, I always thought it was ugly and gotten a replacement

Husband: .........….........

Based on real life stories where wife or husband thrown away their hidden stash furniture and had to search for it at the dumpster or rubbish chute.

Why do you need to hide cash in a secret compartment for a vacation instead of just having it on a bank account?

Or for when things go wrong and you have to move out. Just take the ugly furniture and leave on permanent vacation
