My Kindle 📱 Reading in the dark has never been this fun 👻
Bought my kindle one month ago - used to read in my iPhone. And im so happy and satisfied with it that it’s now one of my favorite material possession. Now can’t imagine being without it. I love that i get to read at night, in cozy spaces because of it.
Enjoy reading my fellow - kindlings? 😂 XO

I m trying to succour and summon courage to pickup reading habit which has been a really really hard struggle for me idk what happened after the break. So I have so many questions as a noob for you, so sorry for that:- What might be the reason for such special feeling you have got for the kindle? Would you give thecredits to the already existing reading enthusiasm/habit which got further reinforced or is there something innate in kindle that made you feel this way? Which are you reading and what kind of books do you feel is enjoyable in dark? Does reading in dark strain your eyes or do you feel comfortable?

Firstly, there is no need to be sorry.
- Having all my books in one device. It’s convenient, i can read anytime, anywhere, under the sun, in the dark, lying down, sitting down. Just anywhere.
- Yes. I already loved reading even before purchasing a kindle, but, I used to read in my iPhone, which I could only read at night, cause of the glare and all. I mean, I loved reading in my iPhone but I did notice that when I was reading in my phone, I would not feel sleepy? Like I could not fall asleep right away if I stopped reading. But with the kindle. I would read for hours in the dark and when it was time to sleep, I would fall a sleep right away. Again, I think it’s the glare and or blue light. Also, I do have very high myopia and yes, it’s true that the kindle is kinder to my eyes.
- I love reading, thrillers, mystery, psychological thrillers, historical fiction and horror. From time to time I would read a chick flick, but it would be just like a palette cleanser.
- No, it does not strain my eyes. In fact, ever since I experienced reading using the kindle I can now feel the harshness of my phone and laptop when I use it. The only issue I would say is that, since i have high myopia, when i do remove my glasses I need to read with the kindle near my face, and I just have to move the device up and down a little just to see the letters more clearly, with the iPhone since it was small I would not move the device - but my eyes were indeed strained.
I hope I helped!

I got the 12th Gen, signature edition in paper white, in raspberry. Tbh, low key bummed that I bought it then a few weeks later they released new ones, hahaha cause it’s my very first kindle, but never the less I’m happy with it! 💖
