CAO 🎓 Points off from course

Is it possible to get into a low demanding niche course despite being almost a 100 points off?

So basically I’m doing a plc rn and wanted to apply to a course through cao. However I’m almost 100 points off the course but it’s a really niche course so I was wondering if it really is possible to get in through a few rounds or smth 🥲🥲

A guy I know called up the college after getting no offers and once he did got an offer. Idk if he was off by many points tho

if a course is not full( extremly uncommon) the course goes up onto available places, and all you need to do is apply, other than that u cant get in, points are done on supply and demand. But some courses have a certain number of spots reserved for plc applicants so id say just stick out the plc because they dont look at your lc points then, but idk, so u should try and get all distinctions

Unis cannot bypass the CAO. That guy may have had an administrative error in his application, or have had another entry route available to him.

You'd be better off contacting the uni that is offering the course to see about other entry routes that might be open to you.

I have dear, but i have a physical disability. Also make you disability sound as bad as possible on your application. It puts you ahead of people
