"You aren't the target of that gift!," I shout. "Have at thee!" I throw another apple towards the thief; not as a gift, but as a weapon. It has been filled with tungsten.
"Dear Heavens..." I mutter to myself. "How have I let my rage consume me so?" And I say it rightfully. I have thrown a soup spoon at my lovely wife, I have thrown fruit towards my admirer like they had performed poorly, and now, I am being arrested after assaulting a man of service. Is this all I deserve? Do I deserve worse? Do I deserve better? I may never learn. Perhaps, I'll change. I'll change and become the human being deserving of being able to write out these words. Perhaps, I spiral more. I spiral and become seperated from reason. I fear both. Both will lead to me, the self, dying. The person sitting here, writing this message, will no longer exist within a few days. No matter if the outcome is good or bad. There is something to learn from this. But it is not my fate to comprehend it, it yours, dear reader and admirer.
