r/antimeme

They post an altered version of the meme, essentially "un-memeing" it and then the original is posted. People started asking for the original, and now instead they just say any word that starts with "O" besides "original"

r/bonehurtingjuice does this as well, though I don't know where it started.

I believe BHJ is the oregano version, though I'm not 100% on that. It started because mods legitimately banned the word.

I feel like they banned the word because so many people asked for the onomatopoeia, which should be easily subverted by just requiring the orangutan in the first place

If I have enough free time I might do some digging for the  octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane

(this has no relevance I just wanted to contribute something)

I'll also add the Course Mediocre Act: one mod was catfished by another mod. The catfisher was an indian guy pretending to be a woman, Course_Mediocre. When the catfisher got bored he messaged the othwr mod claiming he was her brother and we got phrases like

She's no more more (yes, two mores)

NOOO NOOO

I fucking failed her

Hey dude, calm down

Eventually, the catfisher confessed and left and the other mod was suspended later because someone caught him grooming underage girls
