Every time I see something from kitchen confidential it's one of these: 1. Chives 2. Safety hazard that makes you surprised no one died yet 3. That one fucked up comic about Ratatouille Rat
The one by WHO where WHAT?? I didn't know she made a comic like this. Everything I know about this artist's works outside of "Steven universe" is against my will. I meant the comic where the sub picture comes from. From time to time I think about this and I don't know if I should laugh or be amazed by people's creativity, even if it's very strange.
Damn every time I thought I knew where that was going it sucker punched me. Anyways this is what I was talking about, it's just a cut part from the full image but yeah this was done by Rebecca Sugar, it's crazy.
Dude made a legitimate lore question even if he worded it poorly and from it insanity spread out and never stopped, leading to more dens of insanity being born from it all over Reddit.
On May 4th, 2022, Redditor u/Lebind[1] shared a picture of a Better Call Saul scene from season six episode four in which the villain Gus is commenting about an employeeās cooking skills not being fit for the Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant. Redditor u/Lebind added the image in the subreddit /r/okbuddychicanery[2] with the caption "I was watching BrBa and got to this scene, ĀæWhy the does gus give a shit if Walt can cook a f--king chicken? ĀæIs he stupid?" T
It was also the turning point of the Batman Arkham sub being a focused subreddit about the Btamna Arkham games to being a meme infested pit of brainrot
Also "is she pregnant" showing a rat with a obnoxiously fat belly and enlarged nipples. I really like how they refer to pregnant rats as "full of soup"
I'm fairness, if there's anything I've learned from hanging out in r/rat, it's that really happy rats do look kinda like they're having seizures or something lmaoĀ
r/Tarantulas has both a spider version of "happiest creature on god's green earth" and this extra variant for someone noticing their newly mature male tarantula engaging in some...special behaviors.
r/shrimp and r/shrimptank protecting humanity from shrimp evolving (I just gotta post multiple of them cause they're all hilarious. There's so many of these)
I like that [r/antimeme](r/antimeme) has a rule where you have to post the original in the comments but itās always some insanely misspelled version of the word āoriginal.ā I remember back when it first went from āoriginalā to people typing things like āorigamiā or āorangutan.ā Now itās gotten so far removed that people will just type a 10 letter word starting with O and I love it
They post an altered version of the meme, essentially "un-memeing" it and then the original is posted. People started asking for the original, and now instead they just say any word that starts with "O" besides "original"
Iāve been a member of r/neverbrokeabone for a WHILE and I still have no clue what BBB means. PLEASE DONT TELL ME, I really want to see how long it takes for me to find out naturally.
WorldAroundEwe (op in slide 2) makes a lot of strange taxidermy creations out of rats, like pencil cases and pencil sharpeners. They post videos about it and I can imagine a lot of their videos get removed because of the subject matter. No idea why they would be notorious in that conspiracy subreddit though.
Yeah, thereās a few subreddits that have nuisance posters who post the same thing every few months, donāt get the reaction they want so circle back and post again. r/AustinPowers has a guy who tries to bait people into discussing the intimate details of the scene on Goldmember where Austin gets buried in Sumo thongs. Thereās another guy on r/Watchmen and r/AlanMoore who has an incredibly stupid and intensely researched theory about the secret identity of the character Hooded Justice from Watchmen. Heās so frantic about it that he argues with commenters endlessly and was banned for a while.
r/whatisthiscar and resetting the counter/summoning certain users whenever a De Tomaso Pantera is spotted (it's a Italian Supercar from the 60s not commonly known but not uncommon all things considered)
In the 100 Girlfriends subreddit (r/100kanojo), when talking about Ahko, one of the characters, someone will comment "This sends me" (which was her catchphrase for a few chapters)
Another person will ask "Where?"
The answer is Finland, because there is a place called Ahko in that country
r/metroid has what is called the "noob bridge" in reference to a part of super metroid in the early game that uses an ability you start with and are never told about outside of the origional super metroid game manual for the snes
ā0 days since last pit-kiln fireā from vintage story.Ā
Lotta new players learn the hard way that thereās a variant of dirt thatās flammable when they dig into the ground to make a pit-kiln, where you dig a 2 block deep hole, put your clay items in, then bury in dry grass, sticks, and fire-logs, then set it on fire.
The Palworld community has an inside joke of someone wanting to āmountā the pal Orzerk.
This originally started because the user suggested that Orzerk be a flying mount in the game, since it can fly, but the way it was phrased led people to think it was theā¦other kind of āmountā
An unfortunate slip of the tongue that turned into a widespread inside joke, and actually inspired the creation of a mod that lets you use Orzerk as a flying mount like the OP originally suggested.
My gf follows a lot of true crime stuff. One crime in particular is a person who went missing from very near to where my gf grew up. She checks on it frequently enough that I know the full name of the woman who disappeared, and many details of the case.
This womanās case has its own subreddit, as it turns out most ongoing missing persons cases do, and people post there after having seen the case on whatever true crime tv show or YouTube video.
There is⦠one person on this subreddit. They post often, with very weird, conspiratorial but also cryptic claims about the case. Things that are contrary to any public information about the case, or make very little sense, all couched in terms that suggest they know more than the public. This person is clearly obsessed, and clearly a little bit detached from reality.
The first time my gf mentioned them, they had a generated username, like Two-Dorothy78, but was banned pretty quickly for their batshit claims. They continue, however, to make new accounts, and are extremely recognizable by their distinctive writing style, to the point that people will post a āwarning, two-Dorothy is here and posting unfounded claims againā
My personal theory is that it is a person connected to the crime. At least once, they referenced being roughly within the area that the disappearance occurred.
