Tack på förhand! 😊✌🏾

MMX airport is worse than a third-world-country airport
I've now used Malmö Airport twice, and both times I've been surprised by how outdated and badly organized the security experience is.
I've flown through airports all over Europe, and I've honestly never had this kind of issue anywhere else.
I come from Skopje, North Macedonia. Call it developing, third world, whatever you want — I would still expect an airport in Sweden to be significantly more modern. Instead, Skopje Airport feels better organized and more passenger-friendly than MMX.
At Malmö they still use the older type of security scanner, so you have to remove laptops, electronics and liquids from your bags. Fine. But there isn't even a proper automated conveyor/tray system at the loading point. If you need several trays for your backpack, laptop, jacket and liquids, you have to manually push the whole line of trays and bags forward yourself until they reach the scanner.
Then there is the enforcement of the liquid rules.
First trip: I was stopped because my transparent liquids bag was apparently slightly too large.
Second trip: I had a reusable bottle that was practically empty. There was literally one tiny sip of water left in it — something I could have drunk in about one second. Instead of simply telling me to drink it and continue, they stopped me over it and the bottle ended up being taken away.
The best part came afterwards.
An airport employee approached me and asked if I wanted to fill out a feedback form about the airport services. I said yes. He gave me a QR code, I scanned it... and the link didn't work.
I checked my internet connection by opening other websites. Everything else worked. The airport's own feedback link didn't.
So even the form for telling MMX about the airport experience apparently didn't work.
Is MMX generally known for being this bad, or have I just been unlucky twice?

Hi ,
I am currently in the process of relocating to Sweden and have an interview lined up for a PHP Developer position. I have 6 years of experience.
From the research I've done, i found the range to be around 47,000 - 50,000 SEK per month.
Is this accurate for someone with my experience level? The role is located in Malmo.

I have a plan to travel by train from Copenhagen to Malmo, visit the kallbadhus on a Monday when I understand it is open in the afternoon/evening, stay the night in the city then leave again by train the following day. I don’t know Malmo at all so would prefer to stick to well lit/well populated areas. Can you recommend a hotel or area for a hotel that would be comfortable and feel safe to get to? It may well be that the whole area between these two locations is perfectly fine, in which case I’m happy to walk between them - it’s just that I’ve never been there. Thanks very much in advance!

Hello
My 6 yr old son is a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and we would like to go and see their training tomorrow at Malmö ff training ground
Any one know where they will have the training? Is it closed for the public? Will there be a chance to spot the Portuguese players when they enter to the training facility?
Thanks in advance

Har en kompis som fyller år och hon vill ha smörgåstårta istället för vanlig tårta. Och jag har ingen aning om vilka ställen som har bra smörgåstårta. Någon som har några tips. Ju närmare möllanområdet desto bättre.

Hey everyone,
In Copenhagen, there is a place named Gatnergade naergenbrugsstation
There you can dispose of your old stuff ( fourniture, books, broken things...) like a standard recycling station.
But the beauty is that you're allowed to pick up what you want for free.
Can I find a place like that around Malmö ?
Where it's possible to pick up from what people get rid of.
Thank you for your advices 😊

Hi, I’m from Berlin and will be in Malmö on Tuesday and Wednesday. I’m working on two photographic projects for my seminar and one of them is about immigrant and queer communities, how people deals with discrimination and how immigrant/queer community spaces thrive. I’m queer myself but I don’t know queer people in Malmö, so I thought maybe I’ll ask around here if there is anyone who is interested on having some portraits or guide me a bit to where I should go to interview and photograph people(?). Also if you post some places to visit here as answer, that’ll be totally fine. Hit me up 🤙🏼
Mostly I would like to talk to artists, students, any other professionals that have either a immigration background and/or identify themselves as queer.
You can check my instagrams:

Any additional informations, I‘m more than glad to discuss in DMs and I could offer you to take photos for you in exchange or any other exchange
