There’s nothing fascinating. It’s a massive pressurised tank feeding high pressure gas into nozzles and launching something. Shit like this has existed for decades.
Why has no one put it into a car yet? BECAUSE WHY WOULD ANY ONE BOTHER? The best you can do is hop over something’s, like in the demo. What use does that have? You’re also sacrificing more than half the car’s space and weight for all systems, it’s crazy expensive, and you need to recharge it after every jump. It’s a useless gimmick
The number of people spewing hate and acting like the demo was trivial is astounding. If it was any other company, y’all’s tune would change and admit it was a cool stunt. I don’t think most of these ppl that give the company/team credit are Elon bandwagoners, they just are impressed that it was pulled off so well, especially in a world full of AI bullshit.
And yes the car can definitely be manufactured in very limited orders, not road legal, and with nowhere near the specs of the actual production model that was marketed. It’s gonna be a Hollywood stunt car and Jay Leno garage car most likely and that’s it, but definitely historical in the car world.

I am allowed to think the technology is fascinating without being a musk bootlicker or even liking him at all
