What's wrong with that? All who used YouTube did this because they wanted to share how appreciated they felt for getting that much, because usually no one really gets that far if you for example not really comment much, or you comment mostly flop. I did this too actually.
I never got that high on upvotes anyway, so it just irrelevant, saying it for achieving like 58 upvotes and that's it. Why should I curse people for downvoting me? Especially including the fact that its Reddit, if you know you know. Half of them are just bots, some of them could also be braindeads who just downvoted me just because they saw somebody else downvoted me, and they do it too without even understanding what is going on in my thread. Not all though, but some of them could.
