Sorry no, if the Tiger became a man eater they would've put it down. The death was accidental according to all reports.

Fuck you mean accidental, dude just waltzed into a habitat and got killed.

And they really aren't going to put down an endangered animal for that

I mean it was accidental for the tiger. He accidentally happened to be a bit peckish at that exact moment.

What point would it serve to punish the tiger for its nature?

They might just as well put down all the tigers in zoos all over the world, because vast majority of them would react the same if a human fell into their enclosure.

The difference is that Americans see an animal's life only valuable insofar as it conveniences them somehow. In Europe, we see animals as creatures whose lives have value independent of their convenience to us.

Could also be of the location of the guns and where the shooter staff wass. I internd at a zoo, the guns were kept at the front of the zoo and per day there was at least one certified shooter. So the walking back and forth can take up some time.

The tiger was pretty quickly done with killing the man (at least I hope for him) and after it happened there isn't that big of a reason to kill the tiger. And of course you need to add in the fact that it's an endangered species so that might have added with not killing the animal.
