Nowhere in the article you linked is said that someone tried to stop him from going in the enclosure. It is written though that the man was suffering from schizophrenia.
Not arguing that any animal should be killed, or spared in spite of a human life, but your argument isn't a good one.
For real, the commenter just links an article to explain what happened and the reply is someone thinking the commenter is the one making the argument. Wild
