There are over 300,000 wild gorillas and only 5,000 wild tigers. Tigers are significantly more endangered than gorillas are, the idea of cat favourtism is dumb lol just look at the numbers.

Edit to say that tiger was an Amur tiger, which is even more endangered, there are only 500 estimated in the wild.
