They think it’s good enough for them in the short-term, but as a customer, Im not eating at a place that isn’t willing to showcase their food.

This is a red-flag to me and Im tired of seeing these low effort menus.

If they're not willing to invest the bare minimum in their own promotion, what am I supposed to infer about the effort they put into their food? This kind of ad makes me assume they got their recipes from ChatGPT, too, and cut every corner possible in production. No thanks.

Kind of a weird point to make considering that most mom and pop food places that aren't a chain have zero effort promotion.

Chatgpt recipes are awesome and will adjust to the exact size of your steak on the fly.

You're actually clueless and happen to be in an environment where most will agree with you for a plethora of reasons that don't matter.

But the idea of you thinking the platform with literally all the recipes and reviews not being able to regurgitate that information when it has been doing it for years at this point is so hilariously pathetic that I can only feel sorry for you.

You are the guy screaming about how stupid cars are because horses exist.

They are actually pretty trash and not consistent with actual recipes.

Edit: I work in Tech and have to use AI.

It doesn’t matter the AI is trained* on millions of recipes when AI drift and hallucination will start to blend the recipes together.

Meaning AI gets confused and makes shit up despite being “trained”.

People treat AI like it’s all knowing crystal ball when it literally says AI can make mistakes and to double check.

Society is cooked. But please, keep worshipping AI and losing your own critical thinking skills.

I don't know what you are doing but just no. And serious question, how does someone like you comprehend that ai has stolen every recipe ever posted, and all the reviews of them while still thinking it only gives you trash back? I mean you have to question your own logic the longer this goes on, right? 🤣

Wow. Your reading comprehension is terrible and not worth further response after this.

Who said recipes were stolen😂😂😂😂

I said they were TRASH and not consistent due to AI DRIFT and HALLUCINATIONS.

Making the recipes unreliable and not consistent🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

You are so far lost that it's monumentally hilarious. They took every recipe online.

AI is 1000x different than a year ago and was 1000x different then than the year before.

You can see AI live searching hundreds of websites as you wait 1.5 seconds for answers which should clue you in.

AI often links to the source material.

If you don't figure this stuff out soon you will be so far in the dust in all aspects of life you'll never catch up to even the slow people.

100% this ad uses the same 7 red and pink waffles. This doesn't show me what the food looks like im not ordering from a place that doesn't show any of the menu.

No honestly. Just show me a picture of the food. Even if your picture of one waffle takes up the entire flier, at least I can see the food. I’m just thinking how gross the cartoons look with all those pustules

But also check back in 3 months. It’s going to be much much better. Unfortunately.

Lmao, ai can literally do all of this in any style they want while showcasing their food. They could even ask ai to write the prompt that would give the most effective results before generating designs. Then they can make 5000 more before a designer gets back to then with a quote.

Seriously, wake up people. You're only hurting yourselves.

The point is I dont want to see AI generated food.

I have worked in the industry for a decade and also just love photographing my cooking and my food adventures.

People eat with their eyes and it is the first impression to the customer.

Good for you taking the easy way out but it doesn’t need to be 100% AI.

Take actual pics of your food THEN use AI for the rest of the menu. It’s not that hard.

And what do you mean hurting myself? Hurting myself by saving money? Lol, yeah okay.

Okay, but you are saying that you aren't going to go to a place you already weren't going. This doesn't really matter to them as much as you think it does. Also, almost nowhere showcases honest photos of their food?

Please don’t be one of those people who project their feelings onto me.

I just stated my opinion and others agreed with me. Thats it.

The people down below are the ones offended, by said comment.

If a customer cant state their own opinion without the business owner getting defensive they shouldn’t be in business.

Edit: Also if you are going to places that don’t show honest pics thats a you problem.

I do my research and actually look for places with actual pics because thats normal.

I stopped going to a place that started using AI flyers. I have left stores when I see an AI product. I tell them why I’m not buying too, it’s important that they know.

Surely, I won’t even entertain the idea of trying a new place if they use AI. So they’re worse off still.
