i mean what's the problem? that's more space efficient. and if your bread can't take the weight of being upright, that's shitty bread lol

I went grocery shopping last night and thought about getting better bread.

Looked and I refused to spend $6 on fucking bread. So the $1.50 store brand it is. Gets the job done.

The shop close to me started selling £2 small loafs. A full sized one would be close to 6 dollars. I love every single bread related thing I eat.

Ah unfortunately you are using the dollar sign, meaning it probably ain't actually bread but more like cake lol. Real test is, how long does your bread last? Mine last 3 days and then it would start to spoil.

Y'all who fall for the American bread propaganda are something else. Really think we don't have bakery's and can make simple bread here?

And being so scared because scientists have found a way to make enriched bread that can hold up traveling across a country 5x the size of yours is just dumb.

There are a million valid reasons to shit on America, bread isn't one of them.

It's not shitty bread? It's probably traditionally made or local so it doesn't need the same changes to the recipe that are required when you're skipping thousands of loaves stacked together that might bump around in shipping. Nothing wrong with that but it's not to o make the bread taste better lol
