humankind hiccups πŸ˜… The Absolutely Massive Kidney Stone I passed yesterday

Post image

A let's say... interesting thing to witness come out of your body.

Edit to address some FAQs:

I am okay. Honestly I was only in severe pain one day.

Yes it hurt. Mostly when it was moving from the kidney to the bladder

I hydrate well at a minimum of 64 oz of water per day.

I had a full metabolic work up after my first kidney stone and the best the urologist could tell me was it's stress related.

I used a strainer, I didn't reach into the toilet.

Dimensions are roughly 15mm x 5 mm x 4.5mm at the thickest region.

No wonder you guys are in so much pain with these awful things. This is what the bastards look like under a microscope.

Passing a kidney stone is considered more painfull than childbirth.

Having done both, it is not.

I believe it depends on the stone. My mother didnt pass out because of pain while giving birth to me. But she did when giving birth to a kidney stone.

And the birth. My mom had 4 kids and always says the births were not bad at all and she really enjoys it

Been through sciatica, which i've heard is even worse...tbh it was a NDE in the nervous system level, but Travis Pastrana's x-ray is still among the gnarliest

How about passing a kidney stone through a penis?

You know women can get kidney stones too and have reported on it being more painful?

There are actually many more things more painful than childbirth, as someone who's had a child. People also have different levels of pain tolerance.

my uro who is a woman told me so. I was rolling on the floor screaming and puking from pain.

Every woman I've talked to when I had my stone said they'd rather give birth than pass another stone

You clearly just came to piss on men but got your facts wrong.

My point is it's not something men have made up. It's also been said by people who have given birth.

That's right, us men all got together to brainstorm methods to downplay women's pain. Did you know that stubbing your toe is more painful than opening a box of tampons?

I was going to post this if no one else had.Β
