Discussion Love this campaign so much. A HUGE step up from the dogshit that was BO7
I just feel bad for Connor tho… (that guy from the mission Out In The Cold)

Hands down the best campaign I've ever played. Literally couldn't tear myself away.

They really did the "classic ghost" hype for the trailer, then pulled the glasses and headphones from the release, for some reason. Which is whatever, I think I actually prefer this look in any case, but it's such a puzzling change. I was playing through, thinking there'd be a moment where he dons the accessories, but it just never comes. Whatever I guess, just thought that was really annoying. Says a lot about the quality of the campaign I guess, if this was my biggest complaint coming out of it.

MW4 reached 108,000 players yesterday while Black Ops 7 never got much past 100k.
Hopefully players can keep it rolling when multiplayer arrives.

While playing MW4 I was kinda confused on what specific unit cpl. Dunn was in. Officially he's just an ordinary Marine but his gear says otherwise. He has a PCU level 5 jacket which is only seen or exclusive to special operations, unless he bought it privately. I also saw him with a MK18 block 1, complete with a peq15 and elcan which is only standard to MARSOC or Marine Raiders. A more accurate rifle would be an M27IAR with Vcog and peq 16. Which begs the question, what unit is he really in? Normal Marine elements or MARSOC?

Felt nostalgic seeing the relationship between US Marines and ROK Marines represented in MW4. Had some great memories with them. Good job, Activision.

This level makes me wish for an open world COD story. Like metal gear solid V or the last two those recon games I think call of duty could very successfully integrate story into an open world. Also this map is just gorgeous.

Obviously him being closer to the original Makarov helped, but I just overall enjoyed his presence.
