Music to listen to while tripping
This is my collection. What on here would sound amazing whilst taking magic mushrooms?

I'm looking for songs from the 60s-90s that aren't very well known but are elite and deserve more recognition. They can be by well known artists as long as the song itself is more under the radar
Or they can be by less well known artists, in which case even if it's their top song that still counts!
By "well known" I mean mainstream and very recognisable. If they were somewhat big for their time but haven't stayed in the spotlight then that also counts. Just looking for a couple of old gems that feel like a privilege to know about today
Open to most genres, but my favourite from those eras were things like:
punk / ska / rock and roll
Some examples:
The Ruts - Jah War
Wayne County & The Electric Chairs - Fuck Off
Nine Below Zero - Three Times Enough

I prefer to listen to cd’s and I don’t have any Queen in my collection yet. I don’t want any “greatest hits” suggestions because I like the way an album plays out like a story. I know the Night at the Opera is a good way to start, but I’m also looking for things a little off the beaten path. Also, whats their gayest album?
Edit: Thank you all!! Went with Sheer Heart Attack. Will update when I receive it in the mail

I would like everyone to post their top 10 artists or bands and their favorite song from them as well as an obscure great song from them that casual fans may not know. Looking for new and interesting music.
Favorite song first, and obscure song second. The top 10 don’t have to be in order just your top 10.
Queen - Don’t Stop Me Now, Cool Cat
Linkin Park - Bleed It Out, When They Come For Me
Halestorm - Love Bites(So Do I), Black Vultures
Pretty Reckless - Make Me Wanna Die, Sweet Things
Eminem - Till I Collapse, Business
Audioslave - Cochise, #1 Zero
Ozzy Osborne -Mama I’m Coming Home, S.A.T.O
Korn - Coming Undone, Wake Up
AC/DC - Thunderstruck, Sink The Pink
Disturbed - The Sound Of Silence, Avarice

The Happening by Pixies is an example. I especially want to hear the surreal shift in perspective to be in the song's atmosphere, not just the lyrics.

looking for songs about friendship. I like jam, folk, rock, alt country, indie pop.

Edit: To the geniuses in the comments telling me to "just ask her" — no shit, Sherlock. I'm not asking you to read her mind or write the notes for me. I'm just gathering a pool of romantic/love songs to pick from, because I can't physically listen to 10,000 tracks to find the 365 that fit. I'll filter them myself. If you have a good song — drop it. If not — keep scrolling. Thanks to everyone who actually helped.

Songs that feel like they tell a complete story and immerse you in the world of the song with the characters. Examples I can think of are The Mariner’s Revenge Song by The Decemberists and Jamie by Zach Bryan and Charles Wesley Godwin. Building a playlist and need recommendations!

I love bands like The Seeds, Eden's Children, Nazz and the Action. Can you give me some recommendations to similar bands?

à la Alien franchise, Metroid, Godhusk, etc.
Definitely a very specific vibe, but I’m open to any genres.

Looking for positive songs, not overly sad ones, about support, strong values, friendship, role models, and mentors.
Think Frodo/Sam's friendship, or Aragorn as a strong, decent man.

This is a small selection of songs from my indie/alt playlist. (I have around 600 on there atm) Any suggestions on what songs I should add?..

Do you know any songs with a similar vibe?
A sad resignation.
Grieving something
Almost turns to despair.
"About Today" by The National

I'm looking for tracks that just hit different when you're on the road as the sun is coming up. That specific quiet but hopeful vibe before the day fully starts. Something to listen to as the world wakes up around you.

Heyo. This is my jazz playlist. (Ignore the name and photo 😭 I started listening to jazz after reading the Harry Bosch series by Michael Connelly.) any jazz recommendations? I’d also like to start listening to more modern jazz, but keep finding myself only listening to older stuff.
