What are some songs that come to mind that feel like your under pressure and slowly descending into madness and losing your mind. One song that come to mind to me is Psycho Killer by Talking Heads. Any suggestions? Thanks

Like this electronic vibe with all sorts of vocals, various instruments and sounds. Real good for tripping balls. Examples of these records below

Sphongle - Divine Moments of Truth (https://open.spotify.com/track/0LX3YePG8zfDvcfYVcO2nH?si=O1REn7p_TW-1ooxtfYzBRg&utm_source=copy-link )

Younger Brother - I Am a Freak (https://open.spotify.com/track/2lqszuAZRi8k2y8R5cKRwH?si=QZE-XgeTRJubFV9lffruDA&utm_source=copy-link )

Bluetech - Alchemie Dub

i want that broadway blues semi/jazz bar vibe. it needs to sound smokey.

Preferably by composers that use only symphonic instruments.

extreme metal with tambourine?

putting together a playlist of grind, noise, death metal and sludge. so far on the list is vague illusions by cult of luna, less meaning by the body, and tordenbrak by kverlertak. yes i have heard fear factories martyr. ideally the tambourine hits in the breakdown- but not totally necessary.

not looking for:
melodic/symphonic metal, folky, elven, acoustic stuff, or prog, no black metal especially not melodic/symphonic/prog, more culty or noisy raw/bestial/osdm style black metal is fine tho.

I'm looking to create a playlist themed on bugs and insects. It is currently lacking and only has two songs

"I'm a bug" by Fries on the Side

"Disco Snails" by Vulfmon & Zachary Barker

Any other creepy crawlies suggestions? TIA

EDIT: Oh my goodness, thank you for all the answers! Currently listening to all your suggestions

Would love to spark up some conversations with this. I imagine there's at least a few here that almost none of the lovely peeps here have heard of. Give me your best saucy recs as well.

What are some songs to go with the mood of surviving a tough school environment. Leaning more towards heavy metal like The Zoo by The Scorpions, Into the Fire by Dokken, Metal Health by Quiet Riot, etc. Thanks

Hey everyone,

I recently stumbled across Overlord Xoma by Club Doom, and honestly, I have never heard anything quite like this before and I absolutely love it.

The mix of that heavy, dark energy and the intense electronic pacing completely blew me away. Since it's a completely new vibe for me, I have no idea where to start looking for more.

I'm looking for tracks, artists, or even soundtracks that capture that exact same punch and dark atmosphere. If you know anything that matches this energy, please throw it my way. I mostly want to listen to this sort of thing while programming.

Thanks in advance.

So I'm a huge fan of Sonic Youth's entire discography. Unfortunately I've exhausted all of the basic Sonic Youth comparison bands, and I need more. For context, I know and love: Dinosaur Jr., Pavement, Yo La Tengo, Polvo, Wipers, Swell Maps, Fugazi, Pixies, Unwound, and Brainiac, Glenn Branca, Blonde Redhead, MX-80 Sound, etc. I love the album Goo, especially songs like Titanium Exposé (my favorite SY song). I've never found a band or album that has a similar sound. Do you guys have any lesser-known recommendations?

2000-2004 by Frakkur and Seraphim by How To Disappear Completely. I really love the unique dark ambience of Seraphim and the meloncholic experiemntal sounds of 2000-2004 especially PP1, SFTLB1, SFTLB2, and SFTLB3.

Another pandemic breaks out and everyone you know and love gets it except you. A week later everyone seems to have recovered but for some reason no one remembers who you are. What song do you cry to?

Hi hi hi

Day 48 of letting my phone pick random recommendations for you ✨️

Today's list (18.09.2026)

1. Österreich - Rakuen no kimi (very chill and emotional japanese rock, feels like snowy morning when you think about love of your life)

2. Kamelot - Love you to death (symphonic metal song with nice story telling, lowkey feels like a love story between a princess and her knight)

3. A Flood of Circle - The key (great japanese rock song from even greater anime, sounds like an adventure

4. Wave to earth - cherry flavoured love inside your heart (korean indie band, really atmospheric, great to listen during evenings)

5. Sterling Knight - What you mean to me (a song from some disney channel movie lmao (╥﹏╥) forgot the movie but the song is cute)

Please enjoy～

Been going to the gym for a year and my drive has gone down. I need some hype music to make me wanna lift weight that will kill me if I don’t get it up. Prefer rock (any rock sub-genre is good) and rap/hip-hop (anything along those lines are good). But I am open to all genres if you got a real good song. Also prefer them to be in English or Spanish but that’s also not a dealbreaker.

I'd like to move my music to being on me device. I'm unhappy with streaming services and also find myself without internet fairly frequently, so having my music on my phone is nice.

The one feature I really like from streaming apps is how easy it is to discover new music. So, I'm looking for an app that tracks what I'm listening to and uses that to make suggestions.

Thanks for any help!

I have recently discovered this song, as it’s kind of trending. I am obsessed to say the least and it’s sort of nostalgic because I used to listen to music with a similar vibe when I was younger. I don’t even know what this genre is called but I need to hear so many songs like this PLEASE!
