The song became a huge hit debuting at number one on the billboard hot 100 America and the Uk. This was also her very first number one song in Australia.

Idk I always thought Beyoncé’s songs were a bit boring idk why. I really wanted to like her cuz her music is so hyped

Also you had to listen to the same songs over and over back then before the internet was widespread. This song bored me to death but I still remember all the lyrics.
