Halifax Donair Poutine

Post image

From my local shop called Pizza Time in Woodside. All the fries are under the gravy and meat

Amazing. The two best classic Canadian junk food combined.

All it needs now is a few ketchup or all-dressed chips on the side.

Halifax donair is disgusting and its cummy sauce is absolutely awful

In fairness, one is turkish and the other Quebecois.

The doner kebab is Turkish; however, the DONAIR was invented by a Greek immigrant in Halifax.

It's the perfect symbol of two cultures harmonizing to make something wonderful.

I'm in Dartmouth often! I work at the shipyard so I drive an hour to work every day 💀looking at an EV when I'm finished paying off my current vehicle.

Oh it's getting expensive for sure. Thankfully the missus works from home so only one of us has to commute. That being said, 6 acres of privacy is nice. So is being able to just leave from the house on the four-wheeler!

This was a “donair bake” when I was young. No gravy though, just donair sauce.

Munch this on pizza corner half drunk and shivering from the cold. Entertainment is drunk, aggro university students barefist fighting each other.
