Dragon quest 8 runs well on ps4 but there are some graphical glitches. I am 100% sure there could be a fix for this if I tried implementing a .txt command to the game there are already some available for many games but not this one

Unfortunately I have no idea where to even start so does anyone know of a possible guide? It would be awesome since many ps2 games run at full speed on this native Sony emulator but they have all sorts of graphical issues same with silent hill 2 and 3 if I only knew how the emulator works i could write up a fix for it

Hello! I don’t own a PC, just a PS4 and PS5, and I’ve really been wanting to jailbreak one of them.
Unfortunately, I only found out about jailbreaking after my PS5 updated itself to firmware 14.10. My PS4 is currently on 13.52, I believe.

Besides the free games, my main goals are to play some older Nintendo games, maybe the Halo series, and some of the older Silent Hill games. I wanted to ask if any of these would actually be possible on either console.

If not, I’d be very happy to hear what people have been doing on their jailbroken PS4, as I haven’t used it in a while, and would like to do something fun with it :))

I jailbroke my PS4 today. All is good I even downloaded deadpool and WWE 2K16. Deadpool seems to work but WWE 2K16 just crashes after the first screen. Is there a place you guys recommend for downloading pkg's?

I spended some of money on my PSN account and now i am considering to jailbreak my PS4, but the risk of getting my account banned is one of the thing that make me worried about doing this, i know that after that i will not be able to update or connect the internet/PSN, i am even considering creating a "decoy account" to avoid any trouble in my main account, can anyone explain the best thing to do to avoid any losses? (Please, be patient to me i doesn't understand much about the jailbreaks from newer consoles)

My bro just gave back my ps3 and I want to do the 4 first since 5 plays 4. I absolutely don't want to brick the 4 because I plan on giving it to him. He's already looked up games he wants to play but I warned about it working. I looked up instructions. Is there something I should REALLY KNOW?

Hi ereryone I'm new to PS4 jailbreaking, I got a bunch of pkg's that I want to install and I saw that RPI over LAN is supposed to be the best way to do it

I have set up the network and everything but no matter what I do I always face two problems.

The first being the slowwwww install speeds, I saw online people installing 30gb games over a few minutes but when I try to install a 2-3gb game it takes well over 20 minutes, that's without considering the second problem.

Which is that it never keeps a stable connection, I'll be installing a 2-3gb game and when it reaches 45-55% it just stops, after that it sometimes allows me to start the next install and sometimes it tells me the connection has been lost, if it was the latter I always need to close RPI on the console and open it again to "re-establish" the connection even though it was never lost.

My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port so I use a usb-c dock, I'm using the same cable that I use to connect my laptop to the router I just now have pluged into the PS4 instead, never had a problem with it and in the network setting it shows the link speed is 1000Mbps.

My laptop is also plugen in so I don't think it is a power issue.

The only time I've had a seccussful install is while typing this post, and even that was a 2.9gb game that took 17 minutes.

Anyone faced similar problems? how did you go about fixing it?

EDIT: Fixed my problem by ditching RPI and using PS4 Games Installer and FPKGi-node-server
I did have a lot of trouble setting up the server as my PS4 was not able to reach the server beacause of some firewall shit, went back and fourth with ChatGPT to fix it, open ai might have all my information but oh well I can install games fast so who cares

The problem might acutally have been the firewall stuff and not the change of method, but this led me to find the problem and fix and it's actually pretty cool so I'm not going back

When i install fpkgi i only get this, can someone help cuz I reinstalled with the latest version. (I did it via filezilla) I have goldhen installed aswell and did everything in the video i was following. So can someone explain.

Hey guys, I recently jailbroke my PS4 on 8.50 with GoldHEN and installed RetroArch 1.8.8 R4 with the cores installer.

Everything works, but right now I have to select the correct core before loading a game.
What I’m trying to do is have all my games in one place, whether it’s NES, SNES, Game Boy, Sega, PS1, etc., and just select a game and play without having to worry about which core to use.
I’d also like to eventually store all the ROMs on the PS4 instead of having to use a USB drive.
Is this possible with RetroArch on PS4? If so, what’s the easiest way to set it up, or is there something better I should be using?

I’ve also seen some pretty cool interfaces where you can browse through games with their cover art instead of just a list of files. How would I go about setting something like that up?

i have hitman 3 from hako pkg but its not working

I have a ps4 pro with a 2tb ssd.

Just picked up a slim and I'm using itemzflow to extract the pkg to USB from the pro.

All going well it extracts the pkg to a folder.

I've moved them to the directory of the USB as per the usual process

The USB is not reading in the ps4 slim, when I go to Golden hen package installer it doesn't show any packages. But it does on the Pro

I can FTP the pkgs from the pro to the slim and install the pkgs but very slow , no more than 3mbs.

Not an issue for small games but too slow for anything of 10+gb

Any advice to get the USB to work

I tried putting it manually in folders on my drive. I tried downloading it through the Apollo manager but nothing I do makes it show up in the game.
