HPI Nitro RS4-3 — Under the Shell 🔧
Four chassis from the HPI nitro collection, one quick rotation. Aluminum chassis plates, shaft-drive layouts, suspension and nitro hardware take center stage with the bodies off.
Which mechanical detail catches your eye first?

Hello, what would be your engine nitro recommendation for the RC10GT gas truck ?
I dont need something crazy fast. I just want something fun to work & tune it, quality and reliable.
Thanks a bunch.

A body-off look at the HPI Nitro RS4-3 beneath the light-blue Nissan 350Z in the collection. The HPI .12R SS engine, shaft-driven four-wheel-drive chassis, independent suspension and purple accents are all visible through this full rotation.
The bodywork gets plenty of attention, but the mechanical layout deserves a closer look too. What classic nitro touring car would you bring back?

Twenty body-on model photos, one second per car. A quick look at the different shells and colors in my RC collection. Which one caught your eye?

A closer look around this Stiletto V12-bodied HPI Nitro RS4-3, with its blue-and-silver graphics, chrome-finish wheels and rear wing. This is a 1:10 shaft-drive roller, with no engine installed at the moment. I enjoy documenting both the bodywork and the mechanical side of these older RC cars. Anyone else keeping an RS4 around?

I recently got to test the custom track creation feature in Mixed Reality (on Meta Quest 3), and flying around my own furniture was way more fun than I expected.
Now I'm tempted to move some stuff around and add random objects to build the most ridiculous track possible. My living room might never be the same again XD
There's also an option to play together over a local network, which I'd love to try with my girlfriend, but we'd need a second headset for that 🥺
For now, I'm thinking of going old-school: set up a track, take turns wearing the headset, and see who can finish it faster. Basically, hot-seat racing with RC vehicles 🤔

I am new to the hobby and made my first plane. I can't understand if it's nose heavy or tail heavy ?

What would be a nice chassis to accommodate a nitro engine on a Muscle Car body, or a GT/Touring body in 1/10 scale ?
I dont need a competition chassis. I am not a basher either but I like a beautiful chassis, reasonably well engineered but not ultra complex ? Like the elegance/simplicity in design of the RC10DS. It will not be a shelf-Queen but I would treat and run her well :)
I can only think of the Kyosho FW06. But if you know other companies with the same quality and price ? I guess HPI doesn’t make them anymore. And Serpent or Xray would be too expensive for me.
The RC10NDS would be amazing and “affordable”. We can only hope, with all the Team Associated releases, that the NDS nitro would come soon ?

Funzionava a 1s.

I'm building a twin-motor RC boat with no rudder. My goal is by pulling the throttle trigger makes both motors run together to go straight, and turning the steering wheel makes one motor run slower than the other to turn.
I'm using a Futaba T3PV transmitter, R314SB receiver, and an external dual-channel mixer board (with CH1/CH3 inputs and Left/Right outputs).
For anyone who has done a similar differential thrust setup with this hardware, what is your working setup or best way to get this running smoothly?
