I didn’t even know there was 138 teams

I have a feeling today! Go Hogs beat Vandy!

Auburn success makes me real sad because it was rumored that that coach was going to be our coach and I remember getting so pumped up about that news just for him to then go to Auburn I think it was on a money issue too

Short answer, NO. Main reasons: (lack of) Offense and Road Game.

If the game is here in Fayetteville AR, I would perhaps give them more than 50% chance of winning, maybe by a field goal. Unfortunately, it is a road game, and the team is known to suck for road games (lopsided loss to a mediocre Texas AM Team). In particular, the bad offense will eventually suck the all team down to a loss.

What if Arkansas, or any school, paid out minimal NIL for three years and then every fourth year, they spend it all to try to win big. Arkansas' football NIL is about 23.4 million, according to thenilstandard.com So for example, the Hogs banked 15 million a year for three years in a row and then on the fourth they would have 68.4 million to buy the best of the best?

Would that break some NIL rule?

I'd be down with Arkansas only being competitive once every four years, as opposed to never being competitive.

Wrote a little column about the Hogs' mindset entering the 2026-27 hoops season. Everyone on the roster has some outside doubts they want to dispel, while Calipari wants to prove he can still win big with a team primarily made up of freshmen. What do y'all think? Is Arkansas too young to win a natty? https://www.swtimes.com/story/sports/college/sec/2026/10/15/arkansas-basketball-john-calipari-prove-doubters-wrong/92255076007/

We reached out to the Marion RB and got a little more insight from him on his decision to decommit.

Visiting UConn/Furman fan here with a question - I saw a post on the general college basketball sub that has Coop as your starting center. Is that what you all expect to open the season and how do you think he'll do?

He was great at Furman but was often the biggest guy on the court against other mid majors. Whenever we played against high majors he really struggled inside. See: tournament game against Tarris Reid where he got absolutely bodied.

While I wish Furman had a chance to keep our guys, in the current college sports landscape I get it and I hope the players who go on to bigger things from our program find success.

No 2. prospect in the state of Arkansas and a top 50 running back prospect, Jeremiah Dent, decommits from Arkansas

Pretty satisfied with all of this. We were picked 3rd in the SEC behind Florida and Texas, JSJ is all SEC 2nd team, Billy all SEC third team.

What do y’all think? 11 more days until Razorback basketball!

Just wanted to say me and my buddy had a blast in Fayetteville this past weekend and all your fans were super nice. Truly one of the best SEC towns I've visited. It should be talked about more. I know you're down right now and we've certainly been there as well but you'll bounce back soon!

If funding for NIL is needed so bad to field a legitimate football team, why doesn’t the university buy ads on every Razorback related podcast telling exactly how to give. Make it easy for the fans that wanna help with $20-$50. It adds up.

Ranked 20th overall

Any chance he could come back to college?

We witnessed coaching malpractice last night, IMO.

One thing Silverfield said that I find incredibly problematic… he was asked why Russell didn’t get any touches in 4th qtr… “I don’t think at that point in the game in the 4th qtr it truly mattered who was touching the ball as a ball carrier”.
What. The. Fuck.
This happened at the 16:35 minute mark in press conference.

This is random but I just saw a post where Kentucky fans were gleeful at the turnaround their school has made. They thanked some dude for believing in them and coming back. It got me thinking “what would it take to turn things around at Arkansas?”

We don’t visit Fayetteville often (have a young child) but a couple of years ago a family member who lives in Fayetteville has friends in the dept mentioned the guy who oversaw NIL for Arkansas- got so fed up that he left and took the same-ish job at Mississippi State.

The problems come from the top down.

After watching yesterday…we’re doomed and I am focusing on basketball.

Go Hogs

Why would anyone want to come play football here? From HY down, every football coach should be ashamed to be wearing that Hog logo. Today I'm absolutely embarrassed to be a Hog football fan.
