Hey, do you know if the deadline for the first round is today 23,59 or tomorrow 23,59? Because the fact that on the website they're saying BEFORE October 18 is a bit confusing

Hi guys, I'm currently a 1A and was wondering if anyone that got in or is applying to one of the Korean Universities ( mainly SKY) knows what is a competitve average grade and like if there is a high competition for them!
Thank youu

In anticipation of the results for exchange coming out soon, I am wondering what it is like in the Reims campus. I hear that they are not accepting as many students for Paris, so I am wondering, for Reims especially, what is the reality of living there like? I have always lived in larger cities that are very diverse, so I am a bit nervous about going to Reims potentially. I’m an asian female, and have had people thrown things at me in Paris, so I am wondering what the situation is like in Reims?
Other than that, does the city get very quiet? What is there to do? Do people visit Paris often? Are there regional things I could explore? So far everything I'd seen has been "cathedral" and "champagne caves". Is it possible to find homestay options? How are the locals' attitudes towards exchange students (after reading the Menton horror stories on this sub)? Is there much integration between local and exchange students, or is it mostly the exchange students forming their own groups? This could really help with my decision in picking different programs, thanks!
Decent B2 French, was at C1+ during my peak.

Hi everyone! Quick question, would it be ok if I just uploaded my transcript to the last four fields? Because it includes both my grade average, proves my enrollment, has my transcript and says that I've been studying for my degree in English. I would get different certificates but I have to pay 30 something euros for each of them so I would avoid it if I can
Also, does anyone know for sure if the deadline for the first round is Saturday 23,59 or Sunday 23,59? Because that was a bit unclear from the website

How difficult is it to get into the two-week Winter School over January?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has experience with the dispensation process. I took a gap year, so I’ll need to apply for a dispensation as part of my Sciences Po application. I recently spoke to a consulting firm about my application, but they didn’t seem very optimistic when I mentioned it.
Is it generally difficult to get a dispensation approved? What should I focus on to improve my chances? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this process
Also, since I’m not sure if my CV is good enough for Scpo, please let me know if there’s anyone who can provide feedback on it; the application process has been a bit stressful for me, I just want to make sure I have everything right.

If i am right above the threshold GPA for the application, but have a solid letter, good internship and NGO experience, and good recommendations, should i be still be worried?

I studied abroad at Sciences Po during undergrad and loved it so much that I want to return for graduate school. I am wrapping up my BA in French and History in the US, and I want to pursue a career in international diplomacy. I'm currently applying, but I can't decide between the PSIA programs, which sound really interesting, and the Economic Law Master's in the Law School. For someone interested in international relations, particularly between the US and France, which Sciences Po master's programs make the most sense? My main concern with the PSIA programs is employability, since there generally seem to be very limited and competitive opportunities for international relations positions with the EU/UN/NATO/UNESCO/etc. The Economic Law master's might guarantee more stability and is a bit more specific, as I could sit the French bar and work in the legal profession or on the legal side of diplomacy. Could anyone possibly share any advice/insight they might have? Maybe even current students or recent graduates?

Hey. I’m applying for a Master program at SciencesPo
At my undergrad I was a TA, Undergraduate Researcher and a Resident Assistant.
Should I indicate those experiences under “professional experience” or the “extracurriculars” section? Im leaning toward the first because I feel they would get a little “lost” in the extracurricular portion.
At the same time I don’t want to be incorrect so just wanted to ask where should I put it.
Thanks!

Hey people,
I am considering to apply for the Double Degree mentioned in the Caption and have a background in econ and polsci. However I am just curious about how selective this programme is and how hard is it is to get an offer. I know many people who have done the other LSE Double Degree but have no idea how it works - so does LSE and scipo decide on my application? How hard is it? For context, I went to Scipo for my exchange semester but no idea how much that helps. Also have done an internship in the development public sector (diplomacy).
Would be nice to get some impressions and backgrounds

Hi there! I'm applying for a Masters through PSIA. No professional references are required but I thought it'd be nice. I'm hoping to get these references from the director of a school in Kenya I taught at, and my old supervisor.
Here's the thing though, my old supervisor left her job so her email does have an institutional handle, but it is no longer related to the institution we worked at... it's not a different institution.
And the school in Kenya is very small so it doesn't have its own handle. The email is [name of school]@gmail.com
Will this be an issue for me?
Thank you!!

I’m an international applicant completing an American online high-school diploma. My current GPA is 1.6 through Grade 10, with Grade 11 still incomplete. My earlier grades were affected by significant family circumstances and educational disruptions, but I’m aiming for mostly As and Bs in Grades 11 and 12. I plan to take 4–6 AP courses but no AP exams, and I won’t be submitting SAT/ACT scores.
My extracurriculars include MUN, academic writing, research , journalism, Red Crescent volunteering, flood-relief work with Dubai Charity and Emirates Nature–WWF, breast cancer awareness volunteering at a prestigious hospital, and serving as a sports house captain.
I’m interested in IR, diplomacy and human rights, and I’m considering Political Theory (Block 1) + Law (Block 2) at Sciences Po.
Is admission remotely realistic with a strong upward grade trend? Does anyone have experience applying with an American online-school diploma? If anyone would be willing to proofread my CV or personal statement, I’d genuinely appreciate it! Feel free to DM me. Thank you!

Hi,
does anyone know whether the ‘Grand O’ exams that I can see in the annual calendar are only for regular students, or do exchange students have to pass them as well?

Hey ScPo community, I recently finished my bachelor's at the LSE studying Political Economy and want to apply to the Sciences Po Climate School, and I am hoping to submit my application in the first round. However, my grade is below the minimum requirement of 68/100, but I literally have a 66. The British system is notorious for really harsh grading, so I am not sure if they will have pity on this. Additionally, I am not sure if other students for LSE would have much higher grades, since about 70 is somewhat impossible (like higher than 18/20 in the French system).
Some things that make me hopeful are that the rest of my application is quite strong (work experience, languages, extracurriculars, and future plans), and that LSE and Sc Po have strong linkages.
What do you guys think? Do I have a chance? Even if they write on their website that one cannot be deemed admissible, is this really true? Has anyone else in recent years been admitted without meeting min?

Hi all!
I'm applying to the two-year Masters in International Security, my plan is to finish my application before October 18th which means I will receive my results before December 17th.
In case of acceptance, does anyone know how much time Sciences Po gives you to accept/reject their offer?
Thank you!!

hi everyone! I’m wondering what the average age of your master’s program is? I’m looking at the joint degree with the lse for political economy of development. I’m American (I think we tend to graduate older than some countries?) and I’ll have taken a gap year, so I’m worried I’ll be too old haha. thank you!

Hi everyone!
I’m applying to Sciences Po for the 2027 intake and was wondering how much time admitted students are usually given to accept their offers.
Since I’m applying before the October 18 deadline, I understand that decisions should come out in December.
However, I’m also applying to the Geneva Graduate Institute, where decisions are expected around March.
Ideally, I’d like to hear back from both universities before making a final decision.
For anyone who’s been admitted to Sciences Po in previous cycles, how long were you given to accept your offer? Is there any flexibility with the deadline, or do you have to commit quite quickly? Also, is there a deposit required to secure your place?
Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

I've seen that Sciences Po students (especially in Paris campus) have joined the protests and formed barricades.
What is the overall stance of the administration (including professors) and students on the latest protests and upcoming elections.

I will go to Reims for an exchange semester in Spring 2027. I’m from Germany, where basically every student lives in a shared flat (we call it WG), so I was hoping to do the same in Reims to meet people instead of living by myself in a studio.
Only thing is, I'm barely finding anything. I’ve checked Studapart, La Carte des Colocs, and Leboncoin, but there are almost no listings for real student shared places compared to what I'm used to back home. It's mostly just studios or student dorms. So two quick questions is everyone just living solo in studios/residences? and Are there better places to look? Like specific Facebook groups, WhatsApp chats, or other French sites I missed?
Really appreciate any help
